And we really hope you guys were able to get some good grub. And as my youngest son likes to tell me, gobble till you wobble. Which I definitely lived up to that today. With that being said, if anybody wants to.

I don't know how far up I'm going to go yet, but we're going to try to get out get out of the shack tomorrow. 73 All Happy Thanksgiving. Katie 6 Lok it definitely sounds like a lot of fun, Doug, and I really hope you do manage to find yourself some snow. I know I've been missing that funny white stuff myself, so I hope you have fun and at least try to be somewhat as safe as you can. But it's definitely good hearing you out there, Doug. Anybody else.
Go ahead. Hearing none. I actually would like to ask a question of Paul W6TNH, if you are still there, sir. Yeah, go ahead. This is Paul. Thank you. Thank you. Question I got for you because I know we are definitely wheeling into the holiday season pretty quick here. What are we looking for for the next fox hunt for the Yuba Sutter Amateur Radio Club? Well, I hope to confirm this with Devin, but I think she is willing to run the next hunt and that gives Carla and I a chance to go hunt for it. So I believe we will have a hunt on December 6th.
Saturday, and that's just a little over a week away, so that's what I'm expecting. But I haven't confirmed that with Devin, you know, for sure, but I think she's willing to do that. Devin, if you're out there, feel free to chime in. Back to net W6B and H. In0dve hey, there's Devin. Go ahead, Devin. W E6AXM Receiver yeah, I'm willing to do the Fox Hunt. I just need to get the equipment from you, Paul, and have you show me how to make it work. Yep. I know I've still got that on my list of things to do, and I'll make that happen right away so that you have a chance to. To be comfortable with it. And I'll be in that.
Thanks. And that's good. I'm looking forward to being on the other end of the hunt. Back to you. W6P in H yeah, sounds good. Thanks a lot. N0DPE. Well, I just want to make sure both Paul and Dev as well as Carl on Casey kds. I want you guys to know that these fox hunts are definitely well appreciated and a lot of fun. I know I've always enjoyed them and it's very appreciative that you guys are doing that for the club and for all the hands in the area. So I just wanted to make sure that you guys knew that, that, you know, your guys hard work in this hobby is definitely being noticed. So thank you guys.
At this time. I will open it up and see if we have any others who would like to check in for this evening. If so, please come now. Good evening to the Net. This is kilo foxtrot 6. Hotel, hotel, hotel Dan and Woodland Yellow areas. Just wanted to say happy Thanksgiving to everybody. Thank you Dan. We got you checked in. And very happy Thanksgiving to you and yours as well. Is there any others would like to check in this evening? Please come now. Neil, I'd like to thank Paul for working on making it maybe a little bit easier for Doug to pay his dues. The receipt came back.
And so I am now a renewed member for the Yuba Sutter Amateur Radio Club, and I suggest that anyone that's thinking about it just go to their webpage and renew your dues while you're thinking about it. Thanks, Paul 73 KD6 Lok. I'll go ahead and chime in there and say thanks for the feedback, Doug, and I'm glad to know that worked for you. And just so everybody knows the dues, the link is available on our web page, and it makes it real easy to get to a PayPal spot where you can just put in your info and get it paid. So we appreciate that. Back to net 76P and H. Well, thank you gentlemen for that. And actually, you know, here's what we'll do. This is a a holiday of the.
Giving thanks. So what I'm gonna do is I'm actually gonna go down the list that I have here of check ins and if you would like, or you could pass if you, if you would like when you are called, why don't we see if we give something or express something that we're giving things of for this season. So I will definitely start off. I'm very thankful and grateful for not only for all the members of the Yuba Sutter Aries team, for making this organization possible and getting us to where we are with the Aries team, but also to all the outstanding ham radio operators we have out here not only just as voices on the radio, but could be extremely good friends, you know, whenever the call arises.
I know ham radio has definitely been extremely beneficial in my life, not only for the emergency services side of things, but also for my mental health as well. So I'm thankful for each and every one of you guys and gals that come and check in every weekend. And it seems like whenever I pick up the mic, there's somebody out here. And I really, really appreciate that. So with that being said, I will let's give KN6PWW a call and see if you'd like to join in on this. Possibly an in and out. So. And Doug gave one of his Katie sits. Okay. Is there anything else, sir? Well, I can't say I'm.
Much better than what you just did there. That, excuse me, being thankful for the ham community that they're there when you pick up the mic. Yeah, it's been an exciting, if I can use that term, seven years since the campfire. And I kind of regret that I didn't do more myself during that period, during that first couple of days, but learned something. And so next time, next emergency, Doug will be a little more prepared to maybe help some more folks. But again, thank you and Aries for being here. I appreciate myself even though I have not become a member of any Aries. I'm kind of a loner. But appreciate it again. Happy Thanksgiving, folks. 73 KD6LOK. Thank you, Doug. And you got it.
In a position like what you were in, you also got to take a step back and realize you had a lot on your plate while all that was going on. So that's definitely understandable, sir. So awesome. Thank you very much. How about K6 Gab?
Very well said, sir. Thank you very much. How about K6HFP? Hey Neil, thanks for calling back on me. Definitely thankful for friends and family. And I've been in the hobby for about, say, going on about four years, well, maybe five years now. And even though I haven't got much into HF yet, still planning on still excited to get stuff up and doing that. But I was gonna say definitely thankful for all the radio friends out there. This is a fun hobby. And Aries definitely is a great group to be involved with. So thankful for Aries. And yeah, hope everybody had a great day today. And that's all I got for now. Back to you, Neil. K60.
Hfp. Oh, thank you very much, sir. Yeah, it's. I never found a group of people in my life, you know, quite like, quite like the radio people. So it's definitely, definitely something that I'm thankful for every day. So how about we'll go to cable 6BGY, are you still out there? Good evening, Neil, KO6BGY, Paul and Calusa. Thankful for family, friends, amateur radio, community, and just to be alive and have, knock on wood, good health. So we'll pass it back to net control. Ko6bgy, Happy Thanksgiving to all. Thank you, sir. Yeah, when you said, you know, good health, I said noxious.
On wood, and instantly, I knocked on my own head. So there we go. Thank you, sir. W6PNH. Yeah, thanks, Neil. I appreciate you and your. Your role in keeping this group together. And, and just the, the friends that come from ham radio and of course, my family, they support me and all this stuff. I do. And so, anyway, there's a lot to be thankful for out there, and I'd like to put out a thanks to WD6AXM for the use of this wonderful repeater. It's such an asset to the whole, certainly to our community, but far and wide, it's a great repeater, so appreciate all that. Okay, Back to next W6P and h. W. Yeah, definitely. Especially, you know, this, this repeater.
I can honestly say, you know, it's WD6XM. Allowing the use of this machine has been phenomenal. And quite literally lifesavers from anything from Oroville before Thorville Dam, before I was a ham radio operator, to the campfire. You know, this repeater has definitely come come in clutch number numerous times. So, yes, definitely with with WD6XM. I'm fully with you on that. Thank you, Sir. How about Brad KF6riw. So thank you, Neil. This is Brad KM6R I W. And I'm thankful for old friendships. I've since I've gotten old, I've reached out to some people that I have been out of touch with for 50 years. And it's been so pleasant to get back in touch with some of those people. So.
So, you know, if you're looking for something to do, you might consider reaching out to one of your old friends and find out what's going on. So back to you, Neil. Well, thank you, sir. Yeah, that's one thing a lot of people, you know, over time, people tend to grow apart, sometimes reconnecting and, you know, just. Just getting back in touch and, you know, finding out what's happened over the years is awesome. So thank you, sir. Thank you for sharing that. How about Devin? N0dve? How about dan? Kf6 hotel, hotel, hotel.
Okay, Well, I don't want to hold up everybody as this is a holiday and I would like you all to be spending time with family and friends. So what I will do at this time is I will open it up for any further check ins for this evening and then, yeah, we'll be closing it out. So you all get back to your celebrations. So if there's any further check ins, please come now. Yes, Neil, this is Carla K6 KDS in Yuba City with a late check in. Thank you, Carla. I do have you checked in. Is there anything you have for the net this evening? Well, I was listening a little bit there and I can say, you know, I'm definitely thankful for a lot of the same things as everyone else has stated. I can say I'm thankful that I didn't overcook the turkey this year, but I'm.
Also, on another note, just very thankful for health and blessings of family and all that. You really think about that this time of year. And that's it for me. Back to you. Thank you, Carla. And of course, I do have you checked in and it's much appreciated. Any further check ins, please come now. KJ6PKQ, Jim and Chico, Thank you. Jim, I got you checked in. Is there anything you have for this evening? No, I'm, I'm, I don't have much to say at all lately because when I do, it might get a little upsetting. Anyway, other than that, everybody have a good Thanksgiving. KJ.
Pkq. Thank you, sir. I got you checked in. I fully understand what you mean by that. So next check in if you're out there. I would like to thank each of y' all who have checked into this evening's net. It's definitely great to hear you all out there and taking time out on your holiday to to join us this evening. It's definitely much appreciated. But at this time, on behalf of the Yuba Sutter Aries team, I would like to wish each and every one of you a very happy Thanksgiving and hope for continued blessings and merry times throughout the holiday season. With that being said, I will return the.
