And W0 Delta Tango Hotel. And good evening, Dan, and thank you very much for the check in tonight. Do we have any additional check ins? This is W7X Ray Zulu. Nothing hurt. So let us jump to the roundtable mode and in order of appearance here, K6HFP. John, you're the leadoff man. And from you it'll go to K06BGY. Paul, you'll be passing it to KD7UHF. Ron, you'll be passing it to.

To KC6FLB. Lance, from you, it'll go to KA6ETB. And Amanda, you'll be passing it to Dan. W0 Delta Tango Hotel. So, John, go ahead, please. K6HFP and the net. W7XZ. W7X rays. Zulu in the net. This is K6HFP, John, up in Orville. Thanks, Jim. Man, that's crazy. With the fog over the last, I'd say almost going on two weeks solid. Every single day it's socked in up here in the hill, it's been crazy. And then whenever I go down the hill, just about 100ft below us, it's clear and all the way to town. So we're living in the clouds for two weeks up here, it's crazy, but.

Anyways, I hope everybody had a nice Thanksgiving. Awesome as always. And always enjoy the turkey and all the sides that go with it. It's always a great meal. I always wonder whenever I'm eating it. I always wonder why we don't eat this meal more often throughout the year. But it's definitely some work to prepare everything, so maybe that's it. Anyways, it goes by so quick and then all of a sudden, boom, it's Christmas season. Ready for Christmas shopping. So getting ready to do that. And that's all I got for this week. Hope everybody's doing good and throw it over. See what Paul's up to. KO6BGY and the NAT K6HFP K6HFT on the net. KO6BGY thanks John.

Glad you had a good Thanksgiving. Ours was nice and quiet. Less than five people worked out just fine. No radio stuff other than that really worked a couple stations on 2 meters locally. Maybe I didn't. Anyway, maybe like I say, every week I'll try to do more and get distracted. So maybe I'll try that. Try and get to it. Anyway, we'll go and pass it on to Ron, KD7UHF and Annette Kilo was your 6 Bravo Gold Yankee 73. Well, thank you. This is Ron, KD7UHF here in Oroville and I had a pretty quiet Thanksgiving. Got some goodies from my neighbor and so I sat and ate those and had a good time.

Eat new goodies. So with that, I watched football all day today, so not much else going on around here. Paying bills and watching the tubes. So with that, I'll pass it over to Lance. KC6FLB K87UHO. Appreciate that. Thank you. Yeah, KC6FLD not too much going on. Basically, we we did the Thanksgiving thing. You know, I'm just now kind of recuperating, getting the last bit put away and both in my stomach and in bags and in the freezer. But yeah, definitely good holiday. Got to spend some time with my son and his family, a couple family members, members that couldn't be here. But that's okay. We still had a great time and definitely thankful. That's what it's all about. Thankfully.

God's given us. But yeah, look, holiday like, like you said earlier, the holidays around, another holidays around the corner and a little bit more cooking, a little bit more money out. But it's definitely worth it when you get with family. That's all. That's about it. I'm going to go ahead and hand it over to Amanda. AK6ETV, KT6FO. Good evening. K60TV here. Thank you, Lance. Mine was kind of quiet and wishing for some a little rain, a little more rain or some rain. It's been none. And all these gray days aren't working for me. And we have quite a wait until spring, don't we, where the sun will show up. Okay. Thank you so much. And I will forward it to Dan. W0.

Go ahead. Yeah, this is Dean in Fair Oaks. Yeah, I had a great Thanksgiving. I barbecued a turkey and I had some friends over who have a 2 acre winery or vineyard in Elk Grove, and We make about 300 bottles of wine a year. And so that was a good turnout. And then next week, actually in about two days, I'm heading for Appalachia next to Pismo beach for four or five days and then I'm heading to Cabo San Lucas to get some 80 degree weather back to the net. W0DTH and the net W7X said okay, Dean, and my apologies for calling you down. The low vision situation here and all that, and my advanced optics failed me a bit here on my.

Monitor screen here. As far as looking at it, yeah. In fact, you really are Dean. That sounds like a great itinerary there. And enjoy that pleasant and agreeable weather while you're there and all that. I'll put out one call for additional check ins before I ramble a bit. Are there any additional check ins for the NAS W7X Rays, W E A X N repeater? Nothing heard. Well, thanks to John K6HFP for for picking up the net last Sunday without getting into too many grist.

Details or anything else. The Friday before last, I underwent some. A surgical procedure to remove some bladder stones. One was rather large. Anyway, I was kept overnight after the procedure at Enloe Hospital as outpatient observation and got out of there Saturday afternoon and back here Sunday. I didn't feel much like doing anything except maybe. Vegging out for the day, I might say, there and going.

Through a bit of self pity and everything like that. Tuesday, the catheter that I came home with was removed and things have been looking up quite well ever since. Anyway, aside from that, had a very nice Thanksgiving dinner with family. Oldest stepdaughter Kane got me for dinner and at her place there were 29 family members in attendance. And needless to say, the Thanksgiving dinner went kind of buffet style, but very, very good. And this weekend, something I hadn't tried for a couple years or so, first time since I had the detached retina, I gave.

The CQ Worldwide DX contest CW edition of it a go. Over the weekend I made almost 170 contacts and managed to work some DX. Actually in all 6 continental areas. The band conditions were very good on 10, 15, 20 and even 40. My hundred watts was heard by one German station with an excellent receiver there. So anyway, I managed to have a bit of fun at that. And aside from that, the recovery process continues here and and hopefully in a few weeks.

Things will start getting back to a certain normality along that line. Anyway, that's my story. I like it and I'm going to stick to it. Do we have any additional check ins? This W7X rays, Nothing hurt. I'll run it back up the line here for any additional comments from any stations. W7X Ray Ziggle, K6HFP. Go ahead, John. He just wanted to give you the 41 1. Unfortunately, I don't have my 10 meter antenna ready to go, so I won't be on 10 in case you were gonna run that one. So thank you. K6HFP. Okay, John. Well.

I think I'll get up there and put out a call anyway, see if there's anybody I can raise there. Well, let's see on the subject KD7UHF Ron, are you 10 meter ready tonight? Far enough. Okay, I'll be up there and, well, I'll at least have one check in up there. Does anyone have any anyone else have any additional comments for the net? This is W7X Ray, Nothing hurt. Sounds like maybe we got it done tonight. I'll make this a last call for any late check ins there any unfinished business before the before we adjourn the 2 meter portion of the net this W7X rays in the.

Nothing heard. Thanks to all who checked in tonight and this net will convene again this coming Sunday evening at 8pm local time. Thanks to Dave WD6AXM for the use of his fine machine there on screen. South Butte this is W7X Ray Zulu signing the 2 meter portion of the Oroville Amateur Radio Society Sunday night Net clear and going QSY to 28.450 MHz upper sideband.

Kn6wnr.k06b t. Yes, there. Matthew. Kn6wnr.ko6bgy. Negative contact. Ko6dgy. Clearance. Ko 60 gy. This is ko 60 tb. You k a 60 tv. K o 60 t. Y. Good evening.

Hopefully you're well and hopefully you had a good Thanksgiving. Yes, I'm still well. The hoodies are supposed to be lurking out there, so glad to say I'm well. I meant to ask you, did you happen to get over here for the East Indian three day? Any of those days for the festival, taste any of that food or do you like it? I didn't make it over there, but I definitely love their food. I have never had any Indian food that I did not like. Come to find out, a lot of it is vegetarian and you don't even realize that because you're overwhelmed with the generosity of the food and the greatness of the food. It sounds like they had a pretty good festival. Did you make it over W E6A X N repeater.

No, I did not, unfortunately. But I agree with you about their food. It is fantastic. And yes, it is all pretty much veggies. That's what they like. So it's great. And I love that food also. So I can't contribute that I had any. I feel badly that I didn't get to go over there. They're so generous. Everybody was free. Okay, I'll let you go. I was just checking and wondered if you had gotten to experience any of those tastes. Okay, you have a nice season and I'll talk to you again. Okay, bye for now. This is KHC TV and I'll be clear. K A6B KO6DGY. Glad to hear. Mana yeah, they have really good food and the generosity is.

Get my chills thinking about it. Really good people, they don't ask for anything in return. They just want to see somebody get food. Anyway, great talking to you. And I'm due for another haircut, so I'll give you another report next week. KO6 CTY. I'll be TOR 7 39. Oh, perfect. Thank you. Yeah, I agree. Yes. Very generous. Very generous. Okay. My sister has. My sister has East Indian neighbors. And they are very generous, you know, with all the. All the food and the friendship. So. Okay, catch you later at another time. This is K6TTB. I'll be clear seven three.

I had to come come home and pick up my work cell phone, which I forgot about this morning. Ate a couple of drumsticks and some mini cucumbers, and now on my way back to work. Well, it sounds pretty exciting. What did you have for lunch the other day at the hospital?

I think they were coated tilapia fillets with. I don't remember what with, but at least those it was good. Now, which hospital is this? Rideout hospital in Marysville. Right out. Yeah, they had a bad reputation, but now they say the Seventh Day Adventist took it over. Better. Yeah, that's true. And from what I understand, that they've made a lot of improvements. Yes, Well, I believe our.

Medical system needs a rehab. Hey, it's a pretty complicated issue, I suppose. You know, with all the. All the money, I think. Money? I don't know. Well, yes, and I'm not sure what my opinion is that I think. Well, yeah, one of my opinions is that I think too much of our medical money is going to people that aren't citizens and shouldn't be eligible for it. But, you know, that's a hot button topic. Oh, yeah? What are you going to do, let them die?

It's like people back in the Bay Area. I live near a canyon and you are not to feed the bears, the deer, you know, but people do anyway. They don't care. They just say, hey, you know, there's a deer with, you know, two little fawns. Here's some food. Don't rather go to jail. Yeah. Yeah. I also think that some of these medical companies are making way too much money. But. I, I don't know all the ins and outs of it. I've got a brother in law who's a doctor and he makes a lot of money. But then again, he spent an awful lot of money to get his degree and to get qualified to do what he does.

Yeah, well, we had to work hard to get there. But, you know, in our society, we honor people with money. I mean, they can be dumb as a brick, but if they're rich, we still go. Yes, sir. Stop. There's a lady in one of those motorized scooters in the crosswalk. Got to make sure I don't run her over. Oh, my God. I can see the headline. The headline. Preoccupied Ham kills Innocent victim. Yeah. No, there was a. Not your turn, pal. There was. Oh, this was years ago, but there was this woman that was.

Was driving a big suv, and she. She made a left turn at an intersection and ran over a couple of kids in the cross. The crosswalk, you know, and it was time for school. And I'm sitting here thinking, what in the world was she distracted about that she did not see? Oh, my God. Yes. Be careful. That's for sure. I know a guy who just out of happenstance, hit somebody, a little kid. You know, his whole life went down the tubes, really, and it wasn't really his fault. Yeah. Yeah. Well, you know, even if it wasn't his fault, if he was.

Decent, a decent person. I can see that it would have, you know, really affected him, devastated him, just because he was a decent person. Well, that says something. For not being decent. I don't know. I've been accused of that. I. I bumped. And I gotta say it that way, because if I say I ran into a bicyclist, it really sounds a lot more severe than it was. I. I was in woodland and I was leaving at Denny's. I was. I was. And I had to make a right turn and the road I was turning onto was a divided road, so I.

Looking left, I'm looking to clear myself left. And I just start out into the intersection. I'm going a couple of miles out, an hour or something. And from the right comes this girl on a bicycle. And I tapped her and she went over and she didn't have a helmet on. She knocked her head on the pavement and, you know, it knocked her unconscious. And I gotta tell you, you know, she really wasn't hurt. They had to bring the ambulance and take her away to the hospital because, you know, she had gone unconscious. But, man, that felt. Made me feel so bad. Yeah. Really, how could you? Well, at least you stay. A lot of people just take off, you know, deal with it later.

I guess. Yeah, well, yeah, it. It really shook me off. Fortunately, you know, she spent a couple of days down in the hospital just because. Because she had had a concussion. But I heard absolutely nothing after that, so I guess she was okay. Oh, you know, so many people are too crazy. They could have gotten some bucks out of your insurance company at least, or, you know, own your home, something like that. Yeah, well, nothing came out of that, so. Guess I was fortunate. Okay, well, I guess I better get back to work. So have a great afternoon, enjoy the sun, and we'll talk to you later. Thanks.
