Speaker A: if both of them work and I'll take the best one and find a home for the other one.
Speaker B: Maybe. Don't ask me why. You know, out of the two, I think I would appreciate the, the Heath kit more. Just because it's a Heath kit.
Speaker A: Oh, I understand that. But the Kenwood has so much more stuff on the backside.
Speaker B: Yeah. So if you figure out, you know, the real utility to it, you'll have to tell it. Boy.
Speaker A: But I will tell you, back when I first got my tech, I used to think, you know, you buy the radio for how many knobs it has on there.
Speaker B: Oh yeah, yeah. Well, it's still kind of true, isn't it?
Speaker A: No more the whole, that all depends on which what type of radio you're using.
Speaker B: No, actually you don't need so many knob pitches and then dials and stuff like that because all that functionality is buried in a menu.

Speaker B: I'd still like to see, I really, I'd like, I'd like to see a tube set put up and operated.
Speaker A: Yeah, those, those were a bit different because you didn't have all the frequencies you have nowadays. You got what that crystal would give you and that's it.
Speaker B: Oh yeah. I know one band for radio.
Speaker A: Yeah, actually, I mean, I have my, my amp, that's that tube. But that's a new, newer one. I mean, It's Meritron or Astron 811.
Speaker B: Well, isn't still kind of true that the amps are pretty much still all tubed?
Speaker A: You can buy mine new and it's still tubed. Yeah, but it all depends on what, on what you're wanting and everything. I mean, I, I, the first Ampi Bob was a mobile one that had Mosfets in it.
Speaker B: Oh yeah. Okay. Well, I don't think that I have anything to compare to, you know, two units that you got in my 12, but I gotta start digging stuff out.

Speaker B: I don't know exactly. 20 plus.

Speaker B: Of course, you know, some of those are the, are some of the ones that were being tossed at work and I think saved.

Speaker B: Yeah, exactly. But a lot of them are like, you know, somebody come up with something new and it adds some other, other feature, some feature on it. It's like, gee, that looks like a neat feature. I gotta try that.

Speaker B: Not Motorola. I might have one or two. Kenworth.
Speaker A: It might have been a Kenwood. It was, oh gosh, two, three years ago when I came over.
Speaker B: I think those were Kenwood. And yes, I still have one or two. And those are like, you know, Chris, you don't need them. You need to get rid of them. You need. The problem is finding somebody to give it to that's going to use it and not just have it. Because as they can.

Speaker A: Yeah, I have like three or four. I keep on collecting them. So if one goes bad, I have another one and having two places of storage, you know.
Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. I just remembered I'm almost home and I'll get to go in and be confronted with the clogged drain.

Speaker B: The only problem with that is that I think that that would blow whatever it was up through the drains and through the other toilet and not force the. Not force out, you know, the clock.
Speaker A: That is true. I forgot. I didn't think about that.
