Katie 7ahi, kd7ahi7tv, M7tnd, Katie 7 anytime. Okay, we're up here. There's a couple of. Couple of spots resting up again. Good news. All right, M7.
You're right. Power supply was down at 9 volts, so I turned it up to 13 and a half. There's something's pulling, like, maybe an amp of current out of it, but. Is there something else I can look at or can you check? Yeah, I can check, but that sounds like you did the fix. Thank you. Okay. I don't know if there's anything. Anyways. We're gonna be up here for a while for calls or anything, but. Yeah, I don't know what the hell happened, but it was down, and I hope.
Okay? Yeah. When I thought I was getting off telemetry, I didn't believe it. But things knew it was correct. Thank you, M17.
N7cev. M7zev, go ahead. Do you in a place where you can check 88? Yeah. Standby.

That was a song back in the 60s. Yeah, about 60s down in Monterey. K and 6. That's all right. 1967. June of 1967. Eric Burton and the Animals at the Monterey Pop Festival. We're right there. Alpha, Bravo, Six, X Ray, Sierra. Yep, you're right. I was there in 67 in Monterey. But what year did they have that? 40th anniversary. So that would be 2007, I guess. And of course, this time we didn't use blankets underneath the tree. We went to the Hilton State. Absolutely. Well, I. I just spent all morning at the radio station.
KMBY on Cannery Road. So we're just leaving right now, heading back over to the hotel. But yeah, I got in some radio time there at the studio and having a good time. Hope you're doing well. This is Kevin. Alpha Bravo 6, X Ray Sierra. Doing quite well. Yeah, I grew up out in San Francisco, up Golden Gate Park. 1967, when they were playing. Oh, they were playing on flatbus trucks all out there at the speedway. Are you familiar with that? Yes, yes, yes. I've driven by it quite a few times. Yeah, I kind of. I'm kind of partial to that time. The. I guess you could say Tyler, my life. I guess.
But yeah. So anyway, no, I just heard you thought I'd give you bedtime. But anyway, good hearing you. You're doing good up here in Northern California. We're Monroe, California, about five miles from Mount Lansing. And like I said, you're making good trip up this way. So anyway, you have a good day. This will be KN6SLM. We'll be. Well, you have a wonderful weekend coming up and weather wise, pretty good. Looks like the weather's going to cooperate, so. Seven, three, you take care. Alpha, Bravo, Six, X Ray, Sierra.
Well, that was a cool conversation. N6GRG how you doing, John? And doing pretty good. Doing pretty good. Just waiting for that contest to start, I guess. It's 4 o'. Clock. 10 meters. Oops. You're on, Link. But yeah, I did hear a little about it, and I'll bet it'll be interesting. But I checked 10 meters. I didn't get much today. Yeah, I got half of that. I was changing back into local there. I just heard that old boy down there in Monterey. That was a good song. He. He didn't say it for the song. He said he was down Monterey. But that was a good song. But anyway, no, we're just hanging out there on the.
I think we're in the neohall and stuff, actually. Yeah, well, it'll be really interesting to see what happens on 10 meters if it opens up like some of the other bands. I had great bunch of conversations with Antarctica not too long ago, so. And I've had Australian stations coming in pretty good on 20, so maybe 10 of them cooperate. I hope so. And since GRG going to get another cup of coffee. Okay. All right, we'll talk to you after. Wal we got to get this software installed on this computer. So anyway, talk to you if you want. K6SLA. Well, for what it's worth, ten was open yesterday into South America WT.
Okay, great. Yeah, you're on link. Also, by the way, we're on local 123 PL. I just switched over to the 123 plus. Okay. Yeah, it's easy to do that, but it's kind of a custom for Carla if you're on. We're all on the same repeater that we use local, as you probably know. So anyway, yeah, I'm looking at 10 right now. See what happens. Now I'm just using JSA call to look at it, so it's not really a very definitive way to look at it. Well, I found that 10g.
Get more active as the afternoon progresses. This was yesterday probably, you know, anywhere from 2 to 4 o', clock, 10 is fairly active every day. Well, I just sent out, I'm sending out a signal right now on JSA call to see if any stations are awake prior to the, to the contest. Generally these contests are either CW and Sideband or something like that. One guy that might be busy on it if he's not working today is Steve and 6 mic kilo on CW. Okay, so is there a contact?
On 10 this weekend? Well, John just said it starts at 4. I'm not really a contester, so I'm not really up on the name of the. I think I heard a little bit about it, but I think it is happening today. This weekend. Okay. Yeah, I'm not a. I'm not a contester either. Anyway, I'm currently north of Elk Grove. My home qth is Walnut Creek, and where I'm with a few guys, we have our dirt bikes and we're sort of lost. We're looking for a road that will take us up to the BLM part of the world where we can do some exploration. Well, there's two ways that are used, generally speaking, as you're coming north. One is before you get to Clear Lake,
Is called now is N6UTV was. That was the first time I really ran into him. He was exploring that area. And it goes way north from prior to getting to Clear lake off of 20, way deep in there. And then the other way is to go in by Willows and go way deep in on the other side of that mountain. Yeah, that's what we're looking for. And we rode there several years ago, and one guy said, oh, I've got the tracks from when we were here last. And so he said, well, even you're leading. And this. There's just enough fog where all of our landmarks are sort of disappeared. It's starting to burn off. But.
We go from thick to thin. Yeah, I've actually got 10amps of solar coming in through the fog and tree limbs. The sun is still a little low, but, yeah, you're hitting it just right because starting in a few days, there's a huge rainstorm. It's going to go on and on and on. So this is probably the last chance you'll have for at least a week. I don't know how long this storm's going to go on, and it's saying there's a fair amount of precipitation going to come down in the areas I've looked at so far. Yeah, I heard the same thing. And I think it's supposed to start on Tuesday, which is good because I've got to take care of a few things outdoors at my house.
So we could use it. You know, we've had a nice long dry spell. If nothing else, it's going to wash away all this fog. Where I live, I don't think it's been above 53 for, I don't know, two or three weeks. Yeah, it's very cold today and I elected to spend most of it inside. But I'm looking up Stonyford to see what it's saying when it's coming in there. I've been up on that mountain when large groups have shown up in that area of off roaders have shown up in that area. Quite interesting. Are you referring to St. John? Yeah. Most time that that's where I go. But the, the folks around there go.
Some of them go south from that road, basically south from Stonyford. And there's a whole other area there other than St. John's yeah, I'm very, very familiar with that area. So we're. Yeah, we're, of course, going to be north of Stony Fork. We're going to check this area out anyway. All right. Well, have a good weekend. Name here, by the way, is Bill, and hope to talk to you again. W6TR. Great to talk to you. By the way. The system, of course, up there is solar powered. So long, long. Storms like this can really make a difference in solar. I run solar here, and so far, the way these storms have been working for me is I get a little.
Little bit of a flash of sun, just enough to catch up. But I can catch up more quickly here than the repeater can because it's got a lot of batteries and only a few pounds, so takes a lot. And plus, the fog and high cloud stuff, you know, tend to hang in there longer than they do in some places. But. All right, have a great time. Be careful. Okay. And real quick, what is your TTH at the moment? I'm southwest of Reading, California, kind of in the boondock southwest of Redding, California. I'm south of a mountain called Chaste Valley and south of Whiskeytown National Park. Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, I should say. Oh, sure. I know exactly where you are. You two go.
Houseboating at Trinity Lake and have climbed Shasta twice, attempted it three times, summited twice. So know that area well and enjoy it. So, okay. 73W6 Pier. Yes, 73. I've been up on Shasta, but only the 10,000ft, just to explore. And. And I've been all over the Trinity Alps. Great place. I love it. Talk to you later. Nthgrg.

87 nhi and 17. There you are. 87 NH. Okay, we're all packed up and getting ready to hit down the mountain. So successful day every 14. Well, that's good news. All right. I didn't want to bother you. Wanted to check in. You see it coming down the mountain? 87 anytime. Okay. You're talking. I can tell you're talking to an angel. You're at the house or outside? I'm inside. Yeah. That noise is really still there? A little bit, but it's down a lot, so. Okay, good. Should I change to a different channel? No, no, no, no. You're fine where you're at. I just. Ever since they changed those frequencies up at angel or whatever they did up there, just really kept the noise down. Okay. Anyway.
Anyways. Probably be there around 3:00 clock or so. 3:30, more than likely at 17. Okay, no rush. 87.
Sam that frankincense. Just wanted to check, make sure you guys were good. We are good. We're past the majority of the snow drifts. We're going up a little bit of an ice thing right now, but now we're good. We're pretty much clear of everything. Okay. Thanks again. M7 is the evening. Well, thanks for checking in.
