Well, let's see if this, this thing still works here. Whiskey Bravo 1, Golf 36 local. W6LND 36 local. Hey, Smitty. Hey, brother. How you doing? Okay. I think Phil got a good update there, and I think he kind of needed that. I've been MIA for too long. I think what I'm going to end up doing. I don't know if you caught any of that, but I think what I'm going to end up doing, since it's under a year, is see if I can refund all the dues that had been paid into the Square account and then just give Phil a record of that. Obviously, once the amount of the amounts are refunded, then folks can get their money back. That being the person that paid their dues and then pay dues to the club. Makes sense. So, believe it or not, Dennis Lima actually paid his dues with Square and the website today. And I thought we had weren't going to do that, but at any rate, so I think I can refund Dennis immediately and that's going to be the goal in the near term for him. Okay. I just have been texting with Dennis and told him to return them. So how's this new radio sound? Like, you know, I was gonna like that thing during the net because I don't know how far broadcast it it was that your radio. It sounds exceptional. You, you sound like you have ICOM audio. Not that you've ever sounded bad on the Repe. There's a level of, forgive me, a level of fullness and balance in your audio that, that's just there. But using all those fancy words. I'm sorry, you're YAESU guy. Hey, good to hear you, man. Yeah, I haven't used it a whole lot. Just kind of getting my head wrapped around what all it can do. It's an interesting radio. Sounds the best you've sounded a long time. Yeah, it's definitely very bold. You got a. You've got a lot of audio where it counts. I think a lot of it's the microphone ICOM uses. You know, Bob Hale designed their microphone. Yeah, Roger, Roger that. You know, you have a unique voice too, and the ICOM really kind of, I'm not gonna say flattens it out, but it emphasizes the right parts of your voice, actually. So the, the audio characteristics are favorable. Your readability is very good. So, stopped by today and dropped off a card and wished the Heath family thoughts and prayers. You guys heard W6LG passed on the 23rd. Yeah, that was a Sad deal about that. It's been coming for the last year. It was kind of sad to watch his later videos and see the deterioration. Yeah, I met Jim, I've met Jim a couple times and his family was very sweet. His son, that video from his son was just absolutely heartbreaking. And that's when I knew. Well, I mean the beginning of that video shows the 23rd as the date of his passing. But once his son started talking, I instantly was like, oh man. You know, Jim to the very end was making videos about becoming an sk. And hey, I'm going to become an sk, but I'm going to keep doing this until I do. And he quite literally did. Yeah, I think he just literally got so weak he couldn't do it anymore. I never had the pleasure of talking to him, but watched a lot of his videos, learned a lot from him. You know, he lived in your town, so I'm sure you, you met him more than once. You know, surprisingly, I actually only met him once. I've talked to him on HF quite a bit. It's one of those things where he's pretty much line of sight or very close to line of sight from where I live. So when we're on the radio on the same band together, you can kind of, I can kind of see him. I mean he ran full eagle and so did I. So when you, when you see a wide, you know, 40 or 60 over signal, you know, it's. Well, it's either somebody across the green belt from me, it's me or possibly Jim Heath. So very, very sad. But how's everybody doing, man? It's been, it's been a while, Steve. I don't know if I replied to your email, by the way, about Parse and the website. I'd love to give you some advisement. Biting off more responsibility right now for me is a bad thing. I just don't have it. But I'd be happy to guide you in kind of easy ways to do this, but hopefully that would be help to you in Parse. I'm not sure, but no, you didn't reply to the email, but you did now. Okay. Better late than not at all. Yeah, it probably sounds like it's best. It's not to bother you. I, you know what, you guys are my friends. I don't, I, I, I discovered when things started to go sideways that I was very heavily over committed, so, so no, no, no. You guys are in the friend group, not the, not the club group. So if I help you, I'm helping You, Steve, as a friend, get you started so that you can do that for your club. I just meant that I can't, you know, take on too much responsibility just because I just. I just have to catch up and focus on the family, I guess. But at any rate, no, I didn't mean for it to sound that way, brother. Do you also have, since you're on, do you have the NorCal ragchu up on YSF2 still or did you take that down? That's a very good question. I think the server that's on went down and I haven't gotten it back on the air. So that may actually kind of forgot about that. If I'm being perfectly honest. I may have accidentally taken it down. Not thinking it'd be easy enough to put back on the air. But what was I going to tell you? I have something to tell you. Probably the most, what you guys definitely need is a web CMS that's just simple, right? And inexpensive. And the unfortunate thing is some of these things like wix, Weebly, Squarespace, these very well known webcmss, they tend to be a little on the pricier side. And I'm guessing PARSE doesn't have a huge budget for websites. But that being said, you probably can not. Probably you definitely can. And I don't know if this is a conflict or anything like that. You can launch a PARSE site on the GARS server cluster because they do allow for multiple websites on that hosting plan. Now that would mean you're sharing hosting with gars. I don't know how you feel about that, but at any rate, we can talk. Let's talk off the air a little bit on this. Maybe I'll give you a call or we can do a direct connect on ASL to chat a little bit more. I just don't want to give out or give up too much information but. But yeah, man, I didn't mean to sound like not being willing to help you. I'm willing to help Steve anytime I can. Well, I mean, as far as that's concerned, I think. I think I have a long ways to go. So I don't think it would behoove you to start with that, with the time constraints that you may have. So because I'm just a newbie beginner, I think I need to look more in the beginning process of all that. So anyway. But yeah, I appreciate the feedback. You're quite welcome. Let's not talk business, let's talk other stuff, man. How's everything else? How are things? I. I Had to take all the trees out of the backyard. The one of them was diseased, so that was a big, big project, but they're out. And then I had to reinstall some antennas because of course my antennas were relying on my trees. And then I looked at those giant. I don't know if they're spruces or pines or whatever, but I thought of you. I'm like, God, I wish I could just throw something up in that. Okay, well, I mean, I have something up in the tree, but it's not connected because the feed line came down. So I don't know. Probably wasn't my best idea. I didn't know the. The feed line became an issue for you. Okay. See, I'm outside the. Outside the circle. Yeah. Well, I wouldn't say it wasn't your. It served you for a while, didn't it? Oh, yeah. I had lots of fun for about six months there until I started having issues. And then one day it just dropped off, so. Got too hot up there, I guess. And the fitting itself, you know, just came right out of the fitting. Fitting's still on the antenna up there at about 100ft. The antenna's still up there, but there's no feed lines to it anymore. Oh, well. Well, the tree has taken ownership of your antenna or that antenna at least. That's true. Yeah. I've got other antennas, but I'm on a short antenna now, so. But I don't need very much for this repeater. Yeah, that's for sure. How was your Christmas with the family? And did you and Brigitte have a nice holiday? Did you do anything special? Fairly quiet. Fairly quiet. Thanksgiving and so forth. We stayed here but for Christmas. Yeah, we did take a drive over to Napa to visit Memahan and so forth. So it was fine? Yeah, it was okay. But I'm glad to be back home and be celebrating New Year's here, but nothing much to report there. How about you, Jer? Do you have a. How's your boy doing? Did you have a nice holiday? I had a good holiday. He's undergoing radiation. I think he's got like five doses left of that. I guess we'll see what happens after that. So they've been doing that in Chico. That's the only part of the treatment that has been done up here. Everything else was down. Done down in Sacramento at UC Davis. His primary doctor is still down there, but the way the radiation works is a daily thing that they. They recommended. That he did do it in Chico. Is that an end though. Or is there like an outpatient place there? Unfortunately, Chico is a one horse town when it comes to medical care and it's really starting to get to be a problem because there's just not enough medical care. Oh yeah, I bet. I mean, hell, they probably haven't had a whole lot of increases since I lived up there and the population is sure increased. No doubt about that. So. Well, good, good stuff, man. Good stuff. Happy to, happy to hear that the holidays on this side were all right. Let's see. Nothing too crazy. The in laws came up, they left the other day and I got my shack back. And other than that, work has been interesting. You guys know from over a year ago that the company I worked for got bought and then about three or four months ago they bought our biggest competitor and are merging everything together. And it's been funky, let's just say that. But I still have a job. Well, since your company bought the other company, that should put you in a pretty good position. It does. Here's the funny thing, guys, is I almost, when we were purchased a year ago, you remember, I was kind of starting to look and everything like that. And I interviewed with the company that we bought, which is, which is kind of funny when you think about it that way. And then they also are. Have put up a. I don't know if we've won the bid or not, but they're also trying to buy aol, like America Online, which I know you're like, what? So I work for a much bigger company, parent company than I thought, but they want to buy AOL for the ad assets, all the advertising type stuff. So yeah, it's been a very odd year. I've talked to you. It hasn't been a full year, but the last six months have been very odd at work. Well, it sounds like that's starting to level out a little bit. You know, my industry has really taken a big tank, but I feel like in the industry I'm in the safest place I can be, which I know is insane much, but there aren't a lot in this space. And now three of the three of the big players are all owned by the same company. And I failed to get my words out earlier, but the company we bought was a company that I was going to go work for when I thought I was going to lose my job a year ago when we were bought, which I would have been going through it all again. So to your point, Jer, I'm in a, I'm in a good spot. You know, I'M part of a lean team and I've. After a full year, I've kind of earned or earned my keep, I guess, if that makes sense. And so. So like I said, given the industry the way it is right now, I'm kind of in the safest position. And not to say I'm safe, but the safest position I think I can be. Yeah, roger that. I think there's somebody else wanting to break in. Well, I think you're either on Simplex or you off frequency. Was that who I think it is there? King Jack Wagon? Yeah, I picked up the mic cord and bumped the VFO on the 9,700. You know how common that is. And you also are on the Lynx side, boy. It's like. Is this your first time with an amateur radio? Jesus Christ. Get a grip. What do you have? But it was tangled up with the multi knob too, so I must have hit that. Boy, I haven't heard all my radio buddies together on 36 Local in too long. Yeah. You know, it's all my fault. I know. I'm not an idiot. But good to hear you, pal. Dude, we're not friends. Don't. Don't put me in that. Radio buddies. You never come out anymore. Dude, I have slept at your house. I have been practically on your tower with you. I have. I. I'm not gonna say that on the air. We've bonded, okay? Not bondage bonded. Boy, I'll tell you what. I am going to miss winter field day with you guys this year. Yeah, I was wondering if you were still around or still employed. But I got all my answers n6u tv. Ah, you've talked to me in text a bit. You knew I wasn't totally dead. WB1G. I guess I missed a lively Gar's net. I mean, ask the net control, Jer. I thought it was lively. I talked more on tonight's net than I've talked on a gar's net in probably the last year. It was twice as long as the net the week before. Steve, did you re up or no? No. Well, my buddies weren't getting re up, so. No Smitty, no Tyler. Yeah, the heck with it. It's gonna join. I went ahead and paid the dues for the Paradise Club and that's it. He broke up on the air, man. He. He. He mentioned that, you know, that he loved every. He was very thankful, very courteous. But he mentioned on air that he wasn't renewing and what were. What's the cost of deuce for Pars, if I may ask. That's not about the money. I think it was 30 bucks. I gave him 40. No, I figured it was reasonable. I just compared clubs, you know? Yeah, well, for me, a YAESU guy, I mean, they run two YAESU repeaters. Both of them are linked together. They have wires X, all LinkedIn. They have Echo stink. The club's doing things like, I don't know, box hunts, building antennas. They're trying some different things. And Meshtastic, they've kind of gotten on board with that right now, so, I don't know. They're doing some things at least. So we'll see. Anyway, being a YAESU guy, and I do use the repeaters for the C4FM, you know, I guess it's probably good that I joined him once in a while. Oh, that makes sense. I was just scared I was going to have to join W60 Kids to hang out with Smitty. Hey, you know what? You should go ask the folks at W60K how much I've hung out with them lately. I'm telling you, my. My exit from amateur radio has not been limited to gars. Yes, I'm still with ek and yes, I'm still doing a lot of work for them, but haven't been participating a whole lot lately. Yeah, me neither. I got a new truck and I don't have radio in there yet, so it's been quite busy. I went and bucked up some firewood yesterday. Man, that reminds me of how old I've gotten. How's the rig running? It's okay. I mean, it's not. It's not tailored like my last one was, but it works. It's got to get me for seven or so more years, but. Oh, wife just walked in, so it's gonna be dinner time for me. N6UTV. Are you gonna make Winterfield Day or no with pars? No, the only one doing Winter Field Day is gars out there, probably at Black Butte Lake. And that's where I plan on going out to. Out to there. I'll just go for that one day if that's all it is. What about Jeremy? Is he going? It'll depend on what the weather is and if I'm replanting trees. What weekend is. The 24th? Medieval weekend, whatever of January, I think. What do you say it was 26 or something?
Something like that. Anyway. Right in there. Yeah. In Blackview Lake. It's. It's not going to be that bad as long as the weather holds out. Like Jeremy said, that'd be the 24th. Smitty go for a day? I don't know. How about you, Tyler? Well, it usually starts hopping pretty good for me for farm show, but I might be able to fit a weekend. Just depends on who's going. You know, hanging out in the dirt wagon and making limited contacts is not all that exciting for me. I got the sense that it's not a weekend camp out kind of thing. Right, guys? It's just a go and show up for a few hours kind of thing. I'm not doing anything in the dirt wagon, that's for sure. Yeah, so show up. You know, I think Mike said he's gonna start at like 7 or 8 and be done at dark, but, you know, come when you can. Oh, so in that case. Probably not. I have no leadership role in GARS anymore. Yeah, I read all the threat. I saw what was going on. So anyway, I'm gonna say 7:3 to you fine gentlemen. N6UTV. Well, I was saying, you want to camp somewhere or something, Tyler? Yeah. If the four of us are gone, probably really a little better weather and maybe Collins Lake. You know, if Smitty hasn't sold his rig yet. Oh, yeah. Well, that's a. You know, I don't remember you ever inviting us to go camping, like to the desert or something either. No, I didn't think that would be very interesting for you guys. But you know, you're welcome to come over here. I got plenty of room. But we should. You know, we should all talk about. About going somewhere in the spring or something. Well, did Smitty have to sell his rig to pay for the trees coming down? No. I'll tell you what. I actually thought about it about a month ago. I was thinking about selling the rig. But no, it's. It's still. It's still parked, you know, haven't want to see the less. Let's see. You went to. I took it to summer field day. So it's been out. It was out over the summer. The VK Summerfield day. But that hasn't been to Collins in a long time. I'm going to switch to text real quick and text you. Text you something I don't want to say in the repeat. Hey, that doesn't mean you guys had to all shut up. That wasn't. I wasn't saying that. All right? They just Texted but at any rate yeah could could hear all you all you find gents. I I don't know if you've scanned the bands a whole lot but I haven't been very radioactive at all. I haven't been VHF and UHF radioactive and I don't know how long but even HF I've been really quiet on for probably the last say couple months or so. But at any rate good hearing you guys. Yeah you know I don't see you come down to the CW area of 40 meters and 20 meters very often so I guess that's why I haven't heard you. Yeah I, I haven't done head home making down to the CW portion and of course no FT8 or anything like that. I'm not doing any of that anymore. It's all all voice these days. I got a 10 meter antenna up so that's actually been a lot of fun working a lot of 10 and some some fun dx there forgot that band is when it's in it's fun. I've been having some fun with 15 meter FT8 even over there at Oroville Dam doing a pod out on Saturday. I got a couple of foreigners in there. I got Chile and well to I get Argentina and I think one other I think Ecuador or something like that. Mostly South America. Oh very good. Yeah. On 10 I got a voice contact on the island south of Argentina. I'm forgetting what they're called. They've got a name that sounds familiar but I was super stoked when I made that contact. Five, nine, both ways. Yes. Ten ask. I was running power but I heard them just fine. I, I pretty sure they could. The station I was talking to was barefoot but there you go. My little FT8 contact was. Those are all 30 watts. 30 watts on a little quarter weight vertical. Well I match your your 30 watts with 1500 watts on a horizontal 10 meter cut to cut the length antenna. Hey I, I, I sold my 7300. I still have my 7610. No way I'm selling the 7610 but I did end up selling my 7300. Going to get the dash 32 7610. Oh. That would be more in line with the new with the new 7300 Mark II with the better receive. Yeah I'll tell you what I, I loved a lot of things about the 7,300 but but the receiver was not as great as I wish it was. I'm very happy to HEAR the Mark 2 has addressed that from what I understand. Oh, so the truth comes out now? Oh no. I mean, keep in mind, 7300 wasn't my daily driver, but when I compared my 7300 to my 7610 and even to my Apache Labs Anon, there's not a comparison. The 7300. I'm not saying it's deaf. It's not deaf. It just does not hear as well as the 7610 and as well as the Apache laps rig I run now doesn't mean it's a bad rig. I sold mine not because of any reason other than the MK2 was coming out and I, I didn't need three HF radios. Two free full power HF radios and to be honest, I needed the money. And did you? Oh, you needed the money. Did you get the Mark 2? I have not purchased the Mark 2 as of right now. I have my Anon 7000 DLE Apache Labs machine here on the base as a backup here on the base. I've got the 7610 hooked up to a coax switch so I can go back and forth. That's DC powered, the Anon is AC powered. And then as far as the other stuff, I just, you know, I just haven't. I kind of bound myself by, let's just say, making the payments for college. Having a college age kid and trying to keep them out of debt as much as possible has proven to be more challenging than I thought. Let's just say that. So at any rate, no, I will not be getting the 7300 MK2 for no other reason other than I just don't need another radio right now. WB1G. Okay, well that sounds like you got the money now though. So you could if you wanted to. I don't know, I think they're like 1300 bucks or something. Crazy anyway, but pretty cool. Yeah. Well, I still haven't had any luck selling my Kenwood TS480, so 600 bucks. But I guess I'll need to relist it a third time. Yeah, I got lucky with my 7300. There was a guy who had just gotten his General and wanted to get the cheapest he could find. Radio actually sold my 7300 for 850. $850. Original box, original packaging, nothing special, nothing added on. So I felt that was pretty fair given the amount of years and with the MK2 coming out more than fair. I've seen for 600 to 650 bucks all day long on QRZ so yeah, I think you got a really fair price. Yeah, I know. I got, I got more than I was expecting. I was going to go down to 800, but I, but I brought out the antenna. What is it? The Shaylagons? I always say it wrong. I brought that out and from my truck. It was a local sale and the guy was very apprehensive new, new, new ham about buying a rig like this online. Just didn't want to do it and I was local so we set it up in the back of my truck and made a contact on it and he felt great about, you know, being able to use it and see it working for $850. And he was willing to pay a little extra rather than paying, you know, 650 and having it shipped. So yeah, he paid a little bit of a premium but he did get a low, low hours radio. But what's an Apache lab? Apache labs. The best way I can explain it, it's a headless radio. So it, it does not have a face or any buttons. It's a. It's a box with a whole bunch of PL2. Pardon me. So 239 or 238 and BNCs on the back. And it is very similar to the Flex. If you're familiar with the Flex radio, it's more that style radio. Basically a computer SDR radio. Yeah, I'd say that a computer based SDR with the ability to transmit. And I gotta say the one thing that I am very fond of on it is the digital noise reduction. The what they call NR2. They've got NR, NR2, NR3 and NR4. But it is on par with the Asus DNR which I love. I will say, and I've met guys, you say what you will. I've never made fun of the digital noise reduction on the asu. I've always thought that was superior and the ANON actually does that and even a little more to be honest. So I do like that. It hears very well and it's very clean. I'm not going to knock the YAESU on the dnr. It works well. What I will knock it on is the lack of craftsmanship and the ergonomics of the radio suck. User interface and quality qc. Completely agree. Granted after the third try mine is fixed, but it shouldn't have taken that many tries. Well, it sounds like we're all in a good place when it comes to hf. Good stuff. Good hearing Tyler out here. I haven't, I haven't talked to Tyler in a while. But good stuff. Well, there's very little activity on 2 meters up this way anymore. I mean, you hear an occasional repeater. Here's Steve occasionally. That's about it. You know, I don't do much at all. I'm so busy with the farm. And then I got into the fire department and there goes my pager right now. Oh, Jeremy's important. He's got a beeper. Look at that. Quadriplegic needing manpower. Oh, wow. All right. Extra, extra muscle. Yeah, I guess I'm throw on some pants. I got sweats on. Throw on some shoes and go to the fire hall, I guess. Yeah, thanks for that. When you said throw on some pants, I got a visual image that I'm not going to be able to shake. All right, man. Well, good luck to you. Be safe tonight. Steve. Good talking to you, brother. I'm gonna. I'm gonna get out of here myself. In fact, it's coming up on quiet hours here at 9pm and I don't want to break into the in place systems that exist here on the repeater. It's a ghost town after about. After Mike goes to bed. You guys take care. And Steve, good talking to you, brother. I'll hit you up off the air about the web stuff. I don't want you to get the wrong idea, my friend. I want to help you. I just. I don't want. Want to take on any more roles in any clubs at all, amateur radio or not. So it's not a. Not a radio thing, it's just a me thing right now. Maybe I'm being selfish, I don't know. But at any rate, good talking to you both. I'm gonna say 7:3 and hang the mic up. Even though I don't hang a mic up. I'm talking to a studio mic. But at any rate, you get the idea. WB1G73KN6M.GK. Hey, Jer, please get some pants on. All right?

You.
Hey. Hey, quick question. Have you been on listening in the last half hour at all and. Or have you heard any battery announcements from 20 coming through? I've been listening, but I haven't been paying attention. I don't remember hearing any, but they weren't there. Yeah, I heard it a while ago. System 19 link up. Okay. Like in the last hour or so. Maybe a little longer than that. I'm getting inquiries and I heard it this morning and I know PG and E's ETR was, I don't know, something like 4pm today. So I think it's still probably on battery, so. All right, got. Thank you. All right, back to work. Hey, Greg, keep the work too. Don't forget jkv. Zen Ho. All right. So you working today, Greg, or you are you doing something else? Yeah, I'm cheating and doing all my next year's PMs a little early, you know, school's out, so I'm getting a few of the school sites. Then I'll do actual PMs after the first, you know, to make it legal. Yep, that's what I do. But you know, now it's the next. Whatever iteration is they're coming out with. I wonder how that's all going to work, but whatever. Just another day in paradise, right? Here's an interesting footnote. I was scheduling my departure flight based on bonus dates and there isn't one listed on the 2026 calendar. It says to be determined. I'm like, oh, really? So I missed kind of the first part. Exactly. The key word about what? What date were you looking for? Or. I was saying my departure flight date based on a bonus date. And they're not. It is not listed on the 2026 calendar just as to be determined. Oh, okay. Yeah. Usually I thought that was kind of a fixed thing, but maybe. Maybe they'll announce it after. After the first sometime. Well, that kind of blows us. Yeah. Because if it's going to be later, that's a big problem. If it's going to be sooner, it's not. But yeah, we'll have to see, I guess. And isn't it, I want to say sometime in February? Ish. I don't usually pay attention. I just wait till all Sundays. Oh, okay. Well, that paycheck or deposit was extra or different or something like that, but yeah, I'd wait, man. I'd wait a little bit. See. See if you get an offer, you know. So yeah, I hope they don't change it too much. All right. Yeah, the first part there you were you weren't in there at all. But yeah, I guess got to wait and see a little bit. I guess. I got to jump out and get a gate here. I'll be back at 6.50K. All righty back. KJ6K. Bootlegger. What? Yeah. What's going on? Hey, hard at work, you know. What happened to retirement? Yeah. With that? Oh, I'm still drawing social and all that, but, you know. Yeah, well, hopefully I've only got two months, but I don't know. It's kind of dependent on bonus T. Because in order to get your bonus, you have to be employed. When the bonuses come out, I'm like, well, okay, careful of that loophole, man. That would be a gotcha. Yeah, no doubt to keep an eye on that because I've already got everything set up, you know, 401k stuff and old pensions and Medicare, all that stuff. So if it's going to be later, that's really going to throw a wrench in the gear. Copy that. All right, well, we'll let you get back to it. I'm moving my main Sacramento repeater over to Mount Vaga, so I have to guys going over there, I think Friday. I don't know if I'm going to be able to make it Friday. We'll have to see about that. Such ain't fun. It should make your hub thing a little better, right? Yeah, it should be better for Reno and Tahoe so that hopefully that'll work out. Have to see. I gotta go down and measure some power legs and see where I want to put the hub antenna, all that other stuff, and I can move to 900 later. No big deal. There's always time. All right, gotta grab the phone. See you. All righty, get to work.

Yeah. For somebody who's retired. What are you doing? I think it's a separate box of some sort. Of controller maybe. All right. I don't think there's, I don't know that there's any configuration which happens physically or not. But you know, again it's the same setup as the other ones who can do it. Computer sites and hardwire connected so using the same thing. So it should be Scottish color for that. Except that this one would be put into service new. So hopefully there's not something we're going to fix here. And you think you'll be around that time frame? I know we're going to need some kind of support remotely as we're interfacing and trying to set things up and all that stuff. Yes, I will be available. Comes right out of. So it's easy to come by. The box itself gives you all the pin out, all the pin out information. So it's a little bit of soldering and you know, what is that? Six, six, six little wonders. And then you'll have to, you know, figure out how to get how that plugs into your. And it's not too typical but it's going to take a little bit of time by somebody so you may want to have somebody jump on that. As we call it at work. Volume cold. Right. So yeah, Jeff should be able to wire one up if it's not. If we don't already have one wired up ready to go and then we can plug it into a test controller jig at home and we do some basic testing. I want to make sure we got as much ready to go and done and tested and checked out before we get down there, you know, and save that time down there for actual hooking up and installation and Gotcha. There's always those gotchas, you know. Well, when you go to the DMG website you're going to change the chemistry radio operator's box, I assume. Well, I don't know, maybe professional version only. I don't know. Yeah, when you, when you look at that, it also gives you an option to buy together the other hardware to go with it. So there we go. All right, well if you have any questions you can be there on. On WhatsApp or email either your. Okay, sounds good. Hopefully Jeff wakes up out of his beauty sleep or whatever he's doing and reading emails. It's not like he's working. And I'm trying to think what else. Anyway, I'll stop checking in when I get chance here so I'll walk with whatever we need to. Probably. Who knows what it is? All right, I got to jump out here, so maybe you know, too. I don't know if you've been listening, but if you heard any lessons from Tony, The very little bit of lifting I've been doing since the last eight, you know, I haven't heard any battery backup. Catch up with you. And see, By the way, one of these hubs, they do record all of the audio in there. Maturity. I'm not sure if I ever told you that. I don't know how to access it, but if you're still listening, that may be news that you did not know about. Insect canning.

Kb6vxg, long beach, texas. Anyone on frequency. Well, you're in luck. There's somebody here that would be me. How you doing? N6k in a year? Hey, I think I talked with you about three years ago when I was driving around in Gainesville, Georgia. Truck driver. And then I heard you moved to South America. Is that right? KV6GXT, the hand of hair speed. Well, that's quite the memory you've got there, Steve. I don't remember you. I of course talk to a lot of people. Probably like you have, but that's a pretty good memory. Yes, I used to drive 11 Western states and now I'm down here in Columbia. How you doing? I'm doing real good. I was just out there for about five years. My mom had Alzheimer's, moved back here about a year and a half ago. I was living out in Texas and don't quite have the shack set up yet, but kind of patched together enough to work. All star. And your signal in here is 100% full, quiet and doing great. Hope you had a great Christmas. Yeah, we sure did. Great weather. I am just now trying to figure out what I'm going to do for New Year. Stay home. We're gonna definitely stay home, but we've got quite a few activities that we can go to around here. And then the wife and I, we have our anniversary on the 3rd of January, so I'll be planning something for that. Well, congratulations in advance. My mom turning 90 on the 1st. I talked to her today and today is my birthday. I just turned 59 so I didn't remember that but. Well good. I appreciate you coming back there, Kenny. You're easy to remember because they call sign and I know I just talked with you that one time and mostly just monitored the Carla network out there. So nice to hear you back on. I'm going to wish you 73. I do appreciate you coming back and have a Happy New Year. KB60XG. Yeah, yeah, say goodbye. Say goodbye to the old year. We only have 24 hour showers. 20, actually 20, 30. 30 hours left of the old year. So. Yeah, do all your evil, evil mischief, mischief stuff now. Get it over with. Okay? Yeah, you enjoy your New Year's also. Take care. And six Candy. Knick trg. What's going on? Hey Mike, give me one minute, I'll be right back. No problem. N6 grt standing by.
Hello, mike. How you doing? Ken here. N6 candy. Hey, Ken. Yeah, I'm talking to you on a radio that's about to die. I'm gonna have to probably unplug it and charge it, but I'm about to go outside and work on my big blue connection. Came loop then. Anyway, my question is, when you get that package from your friend or family or whoever it is, what type of antenna are you going to end up with? Definitely a horizontal loop. Then I'm going to play around with a balloon just to. I can do that out the back here. And then I'm going to have a sloping dipole. Okay, by sloping you don't mean inverted, you mean actual sloping. It'll just have one mast with the feed line on top of that mast and then it'll have two slopers coming down. I don't know how high the mast is going to be just yet. Whatever I can get away with here, stay out of trouble. The whole back of my house here, the back of the property is a big open, open, wild field. So I'm not gonna bother anybody back there. So I can get away with anything really there but the, The horizontal loop. Trying to keep it hit the best I can. Well, the horizontal loop will hear better, but the inverted will probably might get out better. I don't know. It varies. One thing about the inverted, that's an inverted you're describing B. And you can move the ends around, you know, change the angle and it changes your SWR so it makes it easier to tune. On. Battery at 20. How am I dropping out here? It's gonna be dry. It's going to be that, that low, but I think is going to be going out straight towards the state. So we'll see what happens. And the package is not on its way yet, but I'm working on it. Okay, well, looking forward to it. And our chances of having QSOs with JSA call are better than any other mode. Okay, so I'm gonna get off of here because this radio is still going dead. It's a rad tell. Putting out six or seven watt claims. It's a 10 watt. All right, talk to you later. N60RT. Good to hear from you. Okay, Mike, I'll be listening. My local skywarn says there's high wind advisories and hydrologic outlook. The. The Carla Sky One Hub is showing nothing. So congratulations. Take care. N6 candy. Yeah, the batteries are trying to get charged up. It might have been past the high point and on the. I don't know. Anyway, I got 13.57 so I might not have quite charged up as high as I can, but pretty happy about all the solar today. Talk to you later. Have a good one, ancestor. Grg. Okay, I'm gonna dead to you here for just a second. See why I was dropping out here. Looks like I'm not driving out now. Pretty solid. Okay, take care, Mike. N6 Knee Chinalta, Columbia no dropouts to me at all. So perfect. 73 N6PRG Happy New Year to you and your, as you say, little woman.
