Speaker A: down in the valleys or not. No, I. I went to Pioche the other day and I could see it was a little dusty and white up on island, but we never got any down. We got rain down in the valley here, down off the foot of the hill. Other than that, it's just been cold.
Speaker B: Yeah. It's amazing how little snow we have in our mountains. I think I told you before, usually, you know, October, November, and we're locked out of high potency and Highland.

Speaker B: Peace and everything. And I was at angel on Saturday, I think it was, and there was literally nothing up there at all.
Speaker A: I remember. I think I put a shout out to you when you was up there working. You was testing stuff out. You get it back working. I know that. Yeah, I was.
Speaker B: I was setting Some deviation, a couple of our IP connections and that's why. That's why I heard me up. That's why I came back and said, yeah, I'm testing some audio, but yeah, I got it all worked out working well. So in the high band box on high potency seems to be holding in good. And the link to blow hard for the Northern Snowbird system is working. So, yeah, it's. It's good.
Speaker A: On them angels and stuff. I haven't had a chance to go to my wife yet, but we're going down, I think next month, dental cleaning in Vegas. So I thought maybe I'd give you a shout down there when it is. I'm not sure what the date is, but I think it's in February somewhere. We go for cleaning, maybe we could run over and I could find out where you live and get a. You could look at them and maybe pick up one.

Speaker B: Ah, very good, very good. Yeah, we've got a. Cheryl might go to the standing dentist. We've been to him for years. Matter of fact, he's a dentist that does the Golden Knights whatever. So does those guys. But that'd be great. Yeah. So, you know, if we're. I'm sure we'll be around. The only thing I got going on in February is the last week of February, a bunch of us going down to Yuma for the swap meet or the ham fest. That's not until last. The last weekend, I think of February, but yeah, it sounds good. I'll show you some of my ham radio stuff.

That never worked out. The schedule's never synced up. And I know Matt up in Sparks Reno. He comes down here every now and again, do his railroad thing. We never had a chance to tie up. And Ken and I were going to try to do an eyeball before he decided to leave to Columbia, you know, when he was driving his truck. And that never freaking worked out. It's weird, but at least there's radio, right?
Speaker A: Quite surprised me that he suggests to us from out there. But he's got all the ways to it. I guess we just got to talk him into running for president.
Speaker B: There you go. President. Yeah, well, he. He just has a. You know, he's got. He's got a clear or not clear. He's got an all star node, you know, just like all of us do. Matter of fact, that's what I'm. That's what I'm talking into now. I got a little. I got a little clear node, all star hotspot here in the house that I use. I mean, I can. I can hit the repeaters fine from here, but this way I'm just sitting here in my Handy talking with 20 milliwatts and I have to worry about it.
Speaker A: Yeah, you're loud and clear. I mean real clear. There's not a blended at all in that radio.
Speaker B: Yeah. What do you. When you come down here, you obviously drive. Do you have a radio in your truck or what? Or your vehicle.
Speaker A: I'll be bringing a handheld. That's the thing. I got to figure out what repeater I can run off when I get down there to call you. I have about Utah Hill program into my radios, but I. I don't think I've got any. In the Vegas. I got Highland heat, but none. None of the others. I don't know if we could go. Well, I couldn't go through Highland D, but I'll have to find out and get a program then. What channels you have down there?
Speaker B: Yeah, I can. It's on our website. I can send you the website information. I can just send you the actual frequencies.
Speaker A: Do you have.
Speaker B: Do you have a UHF or is it just two meters?
Speaker A: I have a Yezu and I have a full thing that. U5RM.
Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, I'm not familiar with either one of those. Does it have UHF in it also, does it have 440 or just 2 meters? Yeah, you're quick. He's got. I didn't get any of that. Is it 2 meters in 440 or. Or not?
Speaker A: I think it goes to 440. I think it's just 2 meters.
Speaker B: Well that sucks because all our linked repeaters here in the Vegas Valley are on 440. We don't have anything on 2 meters that's linked into this network. Well there's one on Red Mountain but you wouldn't be able to hit it very well from where you'll be. Okay, well that's weird. I thought Bothangs did 2 meters and 440 but I've mastered my rock. Those radios.
Speaker A: This. Ya, it's a FT60 and I think it does all of them.
Speaker B: Hold on there. Yeah, I just looked it up. Yezu, FT60R band, VHS, VHF. So you're good. Yeah, I will. Cheap 140 bucks. Yeah, it doesn't. So I will, I will send you. You. I will send you a link or I just send you a list of the repeater frequencies and the PL to program in and you'll be set. It pretty much doesn't matter what part of Las Vegas you're in or Henderson or Pahrump or Boulder City. We got Mountain, we got like. How many do we have? We got four. We have four mountaintop repeaters that overlook the entire southern part of, you know, the whole Las Vegas metro area. So we cover pretty much every. Everything.
Speaker A: That dentist I go to down there is out on Rainbow.
Speaker B: Okay, Rainbow. And what's the inner cross street deal?
Speaker A: So we're bike. I know we go by Sahara, so it's out there a way and then. Yeah, we go by Sahara and then we tie into. We have to go on down a way past Sahara and he's down in there somewhere. I don't know what the address is.
Speaker B: Saharan Rainbow, south of there. That's fine. I mean yeah, we've got. Matter of fact probably his. I think probably at least two to three of our mountaintops would saturate that area. So you're not gonna have any problem at all.

And I used to talk on the tower link system down that way. But they don't have anything other than the echo link up here I guess through my phone. So far I haven't. I've had very little experience doing it with my radio but I'm going to get back into doing that and try to use the node links and stuff to connect. Yeah, it's pretty cold up here. We haven't got no snow in the valley, but we've got snow on the hills upper around here. But yeah. So that's the situation up here, khfew. Yeah. I mean the hills have gray hair like we have. Yeah.
