Speaker A: Well, why don't you try?
Speaker B: Yeah, I could. I don't know. I don't have them categorized like that. I don't know which one's which. Probably I've got them all in a bank of about 12 and I have it on scan and if you were to activate the one and you can get into then I could pick you up. A couple of shouts on it and I'll see if I can pull it out.

Speaker A: November 6th. Golf Yankee Romeo. Good afternoon.
Speaker B: Ralph system 32 link off. Hey, George. Good afternoon. I don't see what's going in your neck of the woods.
Speaker A: Weather is extremely nice at the moment. Not running around without a shirt on. Starting to see me down. Put infrared into my body and whatnot. Get parts of my body activated. Take a little vitamin tea vacuuming in the bedroom here. We tend to eat a lot in the bedroom, so it gets a very messy stuff. I have to stop and vacuum it periodically. And what else. Great and exciting. Got a new flashlight. Got a nice little on the heavy side, but so loop something anyway, the SK5 05. Nice flashlight. It's got a lot of reviews on ebay. What else? We got a USB monitoring device for us.
Speaker B: Usb, three ports. Very good. I think some of those monitoring devices, the. I think Anker makes one.
Speaker A: I saw.
Speaker B: They see. Yes. It's probably not the same one you're talking about, but where they give you the current draw the voltage obviously, and the current draw and everything else. Or if you're charging at the battery, it's pulling for the power source. Some of those USB things are pretty fancy schmancy, but good deal. Yeah, it's beautiful here too, man. It's. I'm heading over to meet with a guy down near the Strip. Some venue we're looking at renting out for an employee function coming up here next month. But like 72 degrees, man. Not a cloud in the sky, no wind. It's just gorgeous. So it's been an interesting winter, man. Hardly any snow around at all in the mountaintop. I'm sure the ski resorts are hurting.
Speaker A: All right, Well, I got 74 here, so I got to do that just by go. Anyways, the weather is nice here and there. I haven't been to Vegas in a while. Be fun to go, I think. I'm not sure is it fun to go to Vegas anymore. If I didn't live here, I wouldn't come. It's.
Speaker B: It's price. I mean, the prices have just got completely out of control and everything. It's just. It's just nuts. I mean, the way they. The way to screw over the tourists and all the fees and taxes and, you know, $20 for a bottle of water crap. Wouldn't surprise anybody coming anywhere. But even just for regular. Regular, you know, regular stuff like going to just a regular restaurant or something like that, it's just. It's nuts. But maybe it's that way all over the place, but. I know, I know Vegas is getting a really Bad rap with tourists who are just, you know, like I said, slapping all the additional fees and stuff on hotel rooms. I know that the occupancy rates are down quite a bit. So the local guys better figure it out before people decide to go elsewhere and never come back.
Speaker A: That's what they expect. They expect you to go everywhere else. That way they can buy up all the property you see and put it under one democratic control situation where you sell it, make a lot of money for the Democrats so they can elect more people. That's the kind of crud that goes on.
Speaker B: Maybe so, maybe so. You know, mgm, speaking of ownership, mgm, whatever the conglomeration is called now anymore, they own a bunch of those casinos in town, you know, Caesars and a bunch of those hotels, Luxor, Am, Circus, Circus. All the places used to be separate are now under that they're huge umbrella. Post a lot of consolidation here in town. As far as the corporate corporations that own all the properties,
Speaker A: That's what they're, you know, trying to do is buy it all up, take enough money out of it, sell some of it off, give it to the Dems and sell the rest of it to the Saudis. Then they can rebuild it. They know how to do things right.
Speaker B: Anyways,
Speaker A: my forecast for Las Vegas is abysmal. Yeah. Unless things change here.
Speaker B: I'm sure you're right. And we've got a lot of. I've been here for a long time. Town's definitely changed. Not necessarily for the good the way these have. The city zone is kind of messy, messed up as far as housing and things like that goes. And a lot of folks from the People's Republic are moving in and trying to make it, make it more like California, which is you got. You left California because you hated the shit that was going on there. So why do you want to come here and make this like California? But I don't know, I got probably another year and a half, two years I'll work and then I would very much like to get the hell out of here. But we'll see.
Speaker A: You got warm places and you got cold places. Well, cold places would be nice. Food costing to waste money to heat it. And warm places are great except the prices are high. I'd have to stop doing some serious research. Yeah.
Speaker B: And look for places that have state income tax. Right. Nevada doesn't have that. I hate to move someplace. It does. Although I did see something on the news the other day that some of the states are looking at starting to roll back state income tax and Slowly phasing it up, which is interesting. Go to more to a youth based tax. Right. So if you buy kind of like turkey, I just kind of use out some of the bat value added tax.
Speaker A: But I don't know, you know the northern.
Speaker B: A little north of Vegas here. There's some decent parts of the state. One of my, one of the guys I work with bought a house in Carson City which is just outside Tahoe, of course. And he loves it.
Speaker A: And it's not hot, not cold.
Speaker B: It's kind of, you know, kind of four seasons but not too extreme. So he likes it up there. He bought a place and his wife lives up there pretty much full time. And he works down here yet because he hasn't retired yet. He kind of goes back there maybe two times a month. Gets a cheap $29 fare on Fletcher Airlines and flies up there.
Speaker A: Great move. Yeah, I like Carson City. There was a bed and breakfast right across from the Governor's Mankind. I stayed there several times and two other places around town. Then of course you can always go up to Virginia City up that way. Best horehound candy in the state can be found at the candy place. You go east on off of
Speaker B: whatever
Speaker A: that town is there and you go east and you make turn up towards Virginia City. A couple hundred yards up there's a candy shop that's for Hound Candy and town by Hound Candy. And of course, you know, you got the tourist up there, you got the Mayans, you got the love to go out and pan for some gold. You got lots of nice stuff up there. Yeah.
Speaker B: Wife and I went to Reno. Not Reno, Tahoe a year or two ago. And we went, we drove down to Carson City to drive around, look around. Based on what my friend had told me. Yeah, we liked it. Went and saw the. We saw a couple of movies and figured out which one there was the mint, I think it was. That's the right term for it. Went there and toured that and railroad museum. A few other things. Unlike here in Vegas. Here you walk around in town and people just stare through you like they'd rather kill you than talk to you. And everybody was really friendly. More like what I'm used to in the Midwest when I grew up there. Just very cordial, very polite, nice people.
Speaker A: I run a casino up there. They got nice people up there running the casinos. They ain't got big casinos. They got little ones. I don't know what else was around town. I only saw little ones myself.
Speaker B: Yeah, I'm not, not a gambler, you know. Don't do anything for me. But yeah, like I said, we spent. We spent minimal time. We walked around town for a while and had had a lunch at a really nice local or pub. I said saw a couple of attractions that drove back. Back up into Tahoe and finish the trip up there.
Speaker A: But anyways, other than that, yeah, not much to do.
Speaker B: Government shut down again. But unfortunately my guys aren't affected because we got. The government sent us a bunch of money to carry us through the end of March. So instead of me having to furlough a bunch of people like I had last time. So it looks like we're going to be able to weather this storm. They can get everything unmessed up and reopened tomorrow afternoon. I guess that's the current plan. We'll see how that works.
Speaker A: Good. Yeah. I think in Gardnerville there's a Basque restaurant called Wool Growers or something like that. And you get a chance to difference. So you get 10.6tyr. I think I'll let you go. Think we tied it up long enough. What do you think?
Speaker B: All right, man. Yeah, I'm not. I'm not far from my first stop anyways. Got some guys I got to pick up when we die out of the venue, so. All right, take care. Thanks for. For the shout and have a good rest of you today. 7T&D Vegas be clerked

Thank you. What's up? Good. Yeah, I was just checking out YouTube for. For a bit. Did a little bit of vacuuming around here. The vacuum cleaner right in between.
Much going on here. Let's see. I bought a new flashlight. Adds my collection. At least 20 flashlights up here. What else I do? I got a USB3 voltage and current monitor device. You know, you plug in there, you see how much ripples on it and so forth, Right? Other things with it. And a couple USB3 cables that'll handle 100 watts. What else could I do? Not much. Hey, George, you're on link. Talking to yourself. System 19, link up. Both.
System 2, lift off.

Speaker A: I'm in San Francisco and our Internet may be down, checking to see if anybody else out there is having problems with their Internet.
Speaker B: I've been, I'm in Sacramento, so I'm doing, I'm doing okay. But I might be on. Might be phoned into the link. So you're hitting all the other repeaters.
Speaker A: Yeah, I know. So thank you.
Speaker B: Yeah. It's been kind of quirky here. Let's see. Which, which system are you on? Two or three. It.
This is System 25 link. Chat in. And six prg clear. Thank you. Mike, can you try another one? Try one or the other one? Sure. I'm going to talk to you, though, first before I do it on the other thing.

Speaker B: Los Angeles link up.
Speaker A: Okay, thank you, Los Angeles. Evh, Just one second.
Speaker B: Try it one more time, Mike. Okay,
Speaker C: There are 302.
Speaker A: That's a controller area.
Speaker B: Okay. All right, this is a. This is a COP command from Vaca that we're experimenting with.
Speaker A: Okay, well, I'm not up on it at all, so we'll have to talk about it eventually, but so far no go.
Speaker B: Okay, well, yeah, if I can get it to work correctly, yeah, we'll do lots of talking about it, but right now I'm just trying to get it to work since I don't have RF access, trying to find somebody who could do it. And you're the only. You're the only guinea pig that has come along. Some other folks have been very under the weather.
Speaker A: Okay, well, we know the standard command is working, so at least we know that much. At least we know the commands are getting through.
Speaker B: Okay, well, can you try the standard for 13? I'm sorry? For 16?
Speaker A: Okay. I think it's got the same. I'd have to look up on the. There's a huge bunch of charts I'd have to look at to see if it's standard for 16. If there's one it's not standard for. It's going to be 16, but I'll try it. N6 GRT.
Speaker B: Yeah, it's the standard.
Speaker A: Yeah, I just did it. Let me try it again. Yeah, no, go for 16.
Speaker B: Okay. And that was your five digit command or. Right.
Speaker A: My aprs is goofing up my radio a little bit.
Speaker B: Okay, I'll go back to the drawing board and see what I can do. These COP commands should work. There's some kind of a delay. I need to get in there, squeeze in there somewhere. Okay, thank you, Mike. My dinner is ready and I'm gonna sit down and enjoy it. Thanks for your help and six candy.
