Hey, Ralph. By the way, I don't know if you know much about Broadcast Supplier, but there is in some cases there could be a 30, 40, 45 second delay. See what comes out over there.

Speaker A: Hey, Ken. Yeah, going for the late response. Yeah, just like a 30 second or so latency. I got it.
Speaker B: And secretary, answer the T.
Speaker A: Yeah, I'm sorry. I'm just preparing my tv, radio room, slash nighttime. For the. For the evening.
Speaker B: But it still sounds good.
Speaker A: Yeah, they work fantastic when they come straight from a. From a node. Yeah, I was coming through on one of our mountaintop sites, Angel Peak.

All right, Ralph Wall, I'm done for the night, so I will probably talk to you sometime tomorrow. Give yourself a good night. N6K80. Right? Kim yeah. Thanks again for sending me away. N17.

Speaker A: And six knee and six grg. What's going on, Ken?
Speaker B: I was just looking at some error logs that. That hub that. That we're using with broadcastify, making sure it was still working. Okay. According to the air logs, there were some communication issues. How are you doing? What are you up to?
Speaker A: Well, I was just watching a YouTube video, but I'm ready. Ready to get back to work. And. But I did. I did run into one situation where I would. I. I'm. I've been kind of wondering if you would be interested in connecting with Arizona and got a good friend that's over there who's close to a guy that has a club All Star
Speaker B: node,
Speaker A: which has a number that I can give you if you want it.
Speaker B: I think it's okay with Tom if we just do it like a temporary connection. I don't think he'd have a problem with that, but yeah. What is the node number?
Speaker A: It should be 526070. 526070. Providing that the first zero is actually a zero. It looks a little bit like a six, but I think it's actually a zero. But if. If that doesn't come out right and just look up Kilo Delta Six, Papa Zulu, Bravo.
Speaker B: As soon as I make the connection, it'll tell me who owns it. What is the person's name for 526070?
Speaker A: You know, I. I didn't write that down. The guy that set it up, his name is Steve. 07 Oscar Foxtrot Golf. I don't know if he listens to it. How often he listens to it. I'm not sure. They're in Payson. Both of them are. Are near Payson, Arizona.
Speaker B: Okay, that's right. Just this call sign will do. Give me that call sign again. Your buddy. Your buddy's call sign. Okay.
Speaker A: My buddy's call sign is kilo7 Oscar Foxtrot call. And the node is listed under the call sign Kilo Delta Six, Six Papa Zulu Bravo.
Speaker B: You said Kilo, Kilo, Delta, Six, Papa Zulu, Bravo.
Speaker A: Yes, that's correct. And like I said, I think I. I just forgot to write his name down. But he might be kind of expecting that connection. Although I suppose it would have to be whitelisted or something. I don't.
Speaker B: Yeah, I. I did whitelist it. Let me look it up. It. It's not doing anything. Five five, six. I'm sorry, what was the node number again?
Speaker A: 526070.
Speaker B: Yeah, pace in arizona. No, it's not responding. It looks like it's Turned off there. It exists, but it's not. It's not plugged in or turned on at the moment.
Speaker A: Okay, well, that's interesting. I thought it was. Well, I don't know much about it other than it's involved with a club in Payson and. Yeah, I'll have to find out more about it. The guy that told me about it, Q07 Oscar Fox Golf, is not really into All Star, so he may not be up on what the guy does with it. Maybe he just turns it on for nets or something. But it was my first attempt to try to get something going with Arizona folks.
Speaker B: Yeah, okay, well, give him a. Give him a ring or a jingle or a dingle. Tell him we're trying to connect to him or tell him he can connect to us. If you talk to him, tell him he can connect to this 649-64-64689. That's where it's currently whitelisted. 64689. That's the Carla admin hub. Yeah, Give him that number and tell him to try and connect. If he doesn't have port forwarding, we won't be able to connect to him. He'll have to connect us.
Speaker A: Okay, that could be. Maybe that's part of the problem.
Speaker B: I don't know.
Speaker A: Now, I will be talking with Q07 Oscar Foxtrot Golf in the morning. And so that's my connection into this pretty early in the morning.
Speaker B: Okie doke. Anything else happening? How's the weather up there? Looks like you might have some good weather at the moment.
Speaker A: Yeah, I've got a break of sunny skies and charged up batteries. And then Tomorrow is almost 3/4 of an inch of rain, although I haven't checked it today to see if it stuck with that, but that's what they were saying yesterday.
Speaker B: Oh, okay. Have you played around with any of that other broadcast device stuff or. I think you were already familiar with broadcast, weren't you?
Speaker A: Oh, yeah, I've used it before, but I'm right in on my HAM radio laptop. I'm right in the middle of making it work with Linux and I don't know what I'm doing with Linux. So I messed up and grouped up one option and so I'm trying to get going with a different option. I downloaded Mint and I just have to work through this and it's going slow because I don't know what I'm doing.
Speaker B: Okay. Yeah, I've been too busy doing other stuff and I haven't bought a new laptop, so I didn't want to tackle converting this over to Linux. Getting rid of. Getting rid of Windows. I'll keep Windows 10 as long as I can.
Speaker A: Well, of course all the, all the nodes are running on Linux and it's just something you haven't had to deal with. Pure Linux stuff. You're working with script, but you're not working with the actual Linux part of it.
Speaker B: Well, as far as Alstar, I'm very familiar with that. Linux certainly have a long ways to go. All of this PI, these nodes on pies, they're all. That's all Linux sub Learning slowly but Shorty.
Speaker A: Yeah, it's, you know, it's a learning process and I'm an old man and yet I'm jumping into it anyway. I'll never stop trying to learn about something. Alrighty.
Speaker B: Still haven't heard from those, those Eureka area guys. I always forget the name of that little town that they want to put that repeater. I haven't heard much from them. I think they may have become discouraged a little bit. I hope not. But you know, their issue is an easy fix. They just need to buy a few pieces of equipment. All right, Mike, I'll let you go. I'll be listening here and finishing finishing up a little short, little one hour
Speaker A: video about
Speaker B: an 18th century ship. It gives all the details of how they were built and what they consider. Pretty cool. Pretty cool video. The video from Epic History from this video from two years ago. Okay, talk to you later. N6KN Chenalta, Columbia
Speaker A: well, most of what I hear about 18th century ships, ships that are underwater and there's a few though I have one family that I follow, they built their wooden ship from scratch. When it's sailing around right now it's down in the Sea of Cortez. And everybody thinks of it as a pirate ship because it is rigged up and everything just like an old sailing ship, you know, with ladders. You climb up into the rig by the sails and the whole bit is a cool one to look at. All right, so. And just an amazing amount of work that they did and they're really quick with what they do. They're out of the water right now though. They're in a. At a harbor that's right up at the top of the Sea of Cortez in the north on the east side. So. All right, really good talking to you. We'll try to see what we can get going for Arizona. Maybe there's somebody that wants to link in. N6GRG.
Speaker B: Hey Larry, real quick. Hey Mike, if you're still listening. I added, I added them to the main hub. 649-7-50. Tell them they can give it a try there also. Larry, go ahead. How you doing? I'm good Tim. Good afternoon.
Speaker A: Good afternoon.
Speaker B: Here hard John. So I thought I'd test date for you.
Speaker A: I could possibly schedule some more time.
Speaker B: Yeah, I am going to be a little bit busy for the next couple of days. I got my, got my documents from the U.S. they're Friday. I've been preparing them over the weekend. I need to get them, get them translated and get them submitted. Today's Monday so I don't know, maybe, maybe Wednesday or maybe Thursday or Friday. I'll be, I'll be available to, to get back in there. Okay, no hurry, no hurry at all. I just want to talk to. No problem at all. Yeah, I need to take a look at your email again and see I, I think I may know why you're getting a late courtesy tone. And that's only, that's only hang time on a quartz tail. I think that's all that is. But yeah, when I get in there I'll take a look. That's probably the problem with that one. Then I'll see what I can do with the other, the other items. Okay, Larry, good to hear you. And I will be listening here while I finish my little video and drinking a nice ice cold beer. N6 candy. Good talking.
Speaker A: You take care of yourself there.
Speaker B: Thanks a lot.
Speaker A: Hey Ken, before you go, that first node number, I think it's listed under your name.
Speaker B: Maybe
Speaker A: that ended with a six. I think N6GRZ.
Speaker B: No, they're both Carla. They're both Carla hubs. 64689 is the, is the admin hub. That's where we have all the skywarn plus the Broadcastify. And we do or I do, I do other experiments there. That's, that's Carla. That's under K6LNK and M6MVT. And then of course the main hub. 6497 50. That's also Carla.
Speaker A: Okay. Yeah, it was the first one in the 64689 that I didn't get written down. Are you thinking the second one's the best one to check in on for him to check it? Try checking in on.
Speaker B: Any temporary connections. I think would be best to use the 64689 and you know, if everything sounds good and everybody's happy and you know, all that, all that stuff then we can take them off that white list and keep them on the main hub. The main hub lift you know, Tom. Tom is still very protective of, of everything. So we've got to run by. Run everything by him. But coming in temporarily, I, I don't think Tom would have a problem at all.
Speaker A: Okay, well, I think you'll really like Steve. Kilo7 Oscar Foxtrot golf.
Speaker B: He's a cool guy and he's older
Speaker A: also, and I think you'll really like him. So I don't know the actual guy that has the hub and I don't know anybody else in their club, but it'd be a cool one to experiment experiment with. It's not a big town, I don't think like, you know, Phoenix or something like that, so it might be pretty decent. All right, Ken, we'll give this a try. N6GRT.
Speaker B: Alrighty. Shoot him an email. Or if you don't have time, I can look them up. Shoot him an email. Yeah. And you know, none of this is up to me. I'm just. I'm just here to help. So. Okay, very good. And hope to hear him or them or, you know, their club or whatever. Okay, talk to you later.
Speaker A: Thanks, ken73 thanks.
Speaker B: Thanks, ken.
Speaker A: Appreciate it.

Hey, Andrew, how's it going? Trying to get this radio figured out. Trouble getting Carla. I'm in Concord now to Sacramento and get you loud and clear.

Speaker A: Sa.
Speaker B: Negative contact. 86 NVR monitoring.
Speaker A: Well, I can tell you you're
Speaker C: making it into the system. You're a little bit scratchy, but you're making it. And 6k in each. Thank you for that. All right. You were scratch here that time. I think you said Walnut Creek. Do you have another repeater you can grab? I was able to get the car out of Walnut Creek quite clearly because I probably could see it from here, but I just was curious to see if it new radio for me would get all the way up to the open hour. Okay. Maybe you just have a transmit power issue or something. Okay, well, anyways, you're. You're making it. Barely, but you're making it. Take care N6K. Any.

And I think it was N6KN from Ko6lys also here in Walnut Creek. Curious how you're copying me. I'm working. Yeah, you're doing okay. There's some popcorn going on there with your signal, but you're making it. Copy that. Thank you for the radio check. Appreciate it. You're welcome. In 6k and e.

Speaker A: Lima, romeo, jolly, k6ztf,
Speaker B: fresno link.
Speaker A: Yep, just making progress. A couple of two and a half hours in Bakersfield area, I think. System 15. Are you. Are you on system two? Only to 19 from the home GTH. All right. Yeah, I don't think I've ever used two, to be honest. And then 35 is the other one I use, but yeah. Anyway, things are going well. Just got it on cruise control and just taking my time. The outside temperature is actually 60 degrees. There's some high cloud, but it's dry and not very windy right now. And. No, everything's fine, so just cruise it
Speaker B: right
Speaker A: along.
Speaker B: Very good.
Speaker A: I'll catch you later. Thanks for being there. K6ztf. I'll be clear.
