GEARS E RX (146.250 MHz) recordings for 2026-01-28
Dennis kn6pju checking in and out.
Yeah. Somebody's stepping in on us. This is Tom W6Js, who will be hanging around.
Good evening. This is Greg K6 Gab in Chico. Put me down for some comments this evening.
K6gab. Yeah, this is Greg, K6 Gab. I've got a Chegu G90, a little HF radio with the good tuner. I'm trying to sell that with the digital interface box, the DE19. And I'd like to get $350 for that. I've got a couple of other radios for sale. They're on. My website is k6gab.com and if that sounds interesting, my phone is 530-228-9772. Thanks.
Speaker A: Good
Speaker B: evening, Lester. This is Tom W6Js. Jamie kind of told what what I were going to say, but I'm going to add to it the new hamster I call it is coming out in July and it's going to be tougher. So anybody who needs a technician tests got to do between now and then because it's going to get tougher. This is Tom
Speaker A: W6Js.
Speaker C: Hey, just thought I'd say I had a good time this weekend doing Winterfield Day. Saturday I had some family stuff in the morning, but in the afternoon I went out to the GARS location out at Grizzly Flat at Black Butte Lake and we had a nice afternoon. And then Sunday morning I went down and did the gears winter field day with Chris. We had a nice morning making some good contacts. Chris was doing CW and I was doing phone. That was a good time. I'm gonna break for a second for the repeater. Okay. The other half of my message this evening was I was curious if anybody who's listening listening has the password for the Gears W6RHC poda account. There is a an account on the POTA site for W6RHC and when I was operating, I was operating with the club's call sign. So if I want to upload my activity for pota, I need to do it with the club account. So if somebody out there has got the password, if you could let me know and we can coordinate and get my stuff uploaded, that's it for me.
