Are there any later mismatch Check INS members only. Come. I heard somebody in there couldn't copy any relay. I think that was M6Y YZK. Let me look on my list here, see if see anybody like that. No, I don't. And you are barely making it into repeater tonight and a lot of static on your signal. I'm very sorry I couldn't make out your call correctly.
Speaker B: Relay Bob, go ahead. That was N6Y CK, Albert and Corning.
Speaker A: Okay. And 6Y ZK. Albert and Corning. Albert, wow, it's an honor to hear you back in there. I was thinking about you actually today and wondering how you were doing. Can you give us an update? Jeremy, can you relay Everett's response? I. I could not copy him.
Speaker B: Yeah, he said he doesn't have his big radio and he's just using an HT so it's kind of noisy.
Speaker A: Okay, well Albert, we got that you're on an HT and that's why I couldn't copy very much out here in Elk Creek. So you're actually making a pretty good trip just on that ht. So good to hear you in there. Hopefully you can join us again another time. We miss you and we thank you for all the efforts you made throughout the years for the 105 repeater.
Speaker C: Always a great repeater.
Speaker A: I always thought so. Albert73. All right, well let's continue on. Are there any last comments or suggestions before we close?
Speaker C: Go through the list.
Speaker A: You're right and I got the list here. How about KC6UFE, Bill and Capay, what's your comment tonight?
Speaker C: KC6UFE? Trying not to hurry things along too quickly. Anyway, good evening to the net and had a fun weekend. Was 160 meter band contest so I enjoyed that. Made a couple of handfuls of contacts and also there's an outfit that's doing a D expedition down there south of South Africa. Let's see, it's 3A Y A 0K. So you want to look for them on all the HF bands and make a contact on that island down there. So other than that, back to you Bob. KC6UFE.
Speaker A: Okay Bill. Well thank you for that info and hopefully people will take you up on your suggestion. And let's go down to my last Talk back is W6LND. Jeremy.
Speaker B: Well good evening Bob and the rest of the net. So about a month ago Gary W6GRC went up and he removed Albert's Ya sue repeater and he put a Motorola machine up there at Red Mountain and it is fully all star compatible. Now so in the mornings it's doing the. It automatically logs into the coffee break net out of the Sacramento area. And it plays that for about two and a half hours every morning, seven days a week. And that's kind of what's happening there. And the tone that we're hearing. I know I heard Bill ask about the tone. That is an All Star courtesy tone. Let me reset. So the courtesy tone is because instead of using a repeater controller, the All Star software is actually the repeater controller. Now for that Motorola repeater. So that Raspberry PI computer does the repeater control also brings in voiceover Internet. So that's how I'm coming in tonight is via the voiceover IP using my handy talkie here at the house, going into a node, the Internet coming out through the Internet, which is right up at the mountaintop. So that's kind of a quick synopsis of what's going on with the 105.
Speaker A: Okay, Jeremy, great information and you are solid Q5. I would never guess you were going that path was that long. And I'd like to ask you, do you know anything about the solar system up there on the Red Mountain? I've been up there in my hang gliding days and saw the panels and I'm just wondering is there enough power up there for everybody? And what's the story? Do you have any input?
Speaker B: Well, I'm sure Albert could attest to this as well. Most of the time it's sufficient power other than we get, you know that two weeks or ten days of cloudy weather. They do have some energy failures. But there's two generators on site up there. I know for a fact last week, one night for sure, the generator was running.
Speaker A: Okay, very good. Well, I didn't know they even had generator back up on that. So thank you for that update. And it really, really. That's that repeater. The 105 machine was always my favorite up here since I've been here in 2000. Thanks a lot, Jeremy.
Speaker B: 73, 73 Bob W6LND.
Speaker A: Okay, are there any last comments or suggestions before we close the net? How about Elite check in. GO
Speaker B: Alpha FOXTROT 6 Oscar Alpha.
Speaker A: Alpha Ticks Oscar Alpha. Oh, we got you Elite. Ian. Thank you.
Speaker B: Yeah, it's Alpha Foxtrot 6 there, Bob.
Speaker A: Okay, well I'm sorry I missed that. And also Foxtrot 6 Oscar Alpha, Ian and Capay. And Ian, we got your Q5 in. Glad you could make it. Have a good evening. All right, this concludes the Gars Monday night Net. The Net control. Thanks everyone who checked in with us tonight and invite you to be back next week.
