Speaker A: Kb70sp mobile twin falls.
Speaker B: Hey, Ken. We signed off about five minutes early tonight, so it doesn't. Doesn't mean that we're still not curious what you're having for lunch there. My men. WU6H.
Speaker A: Well, alrighty then. Yeah. Lentil soup today. How's it going, JP70FP
Speaker B: lentil. Okay, I'll take it. You know, my wife made some experiments, like bean soup thing, and she had this great idea that it's the kind that would have, like, ham hocks and stuff in it. But she's vegetarian, so we didn't have any of that. So it's like missing some salt and some substance and some fat. And whenever she makes something new, she waits and looks at my expression on the first bite. And the expression is always the same. It's, oh, my God, that's really good. But I don't want to say things are that good because then she'll make it all the time because I had to chug this one down.
Speaker A: Oh, wow.
Speaker B: Well, mine, I cheated.
Speaker A: I just used the can and put it in a bowl and make it that way. Mine's not fancy.
Speaker B: Yeah, but it's consistent. Consistent? Well, you're gonna need to switch from all this hot soup to something a little cooler with temp changes.
Speaker A: Well, you know, there's always PB and J. I used to like that
Speaker B: for, like, a salad or a cold sando. Yum. Like a blt.
Speaker A: Yeah, that does sound good. I do a lot of times do more salads on the weekend when I have time to put it together.
Speaker B: Comment. Well, you can cheat with that too. You get the salad in a bowl. They've got the southwestern chicken with the little, like, tortilla crumblies. Or you can get a chicken caesar. All those, and they're like, I don't know, two, three bucks a bowl. It has the salad dressing in it. All you do is just kind of toss it and. Yeah, you're in business.
Speaker A: I think there was a comment in there. Go ahead, Comet.
Speaker C: Come on, Ryri. You're the king of fast speed food deals. Don't tell me about eating salads and stuff.
Speaker B: All right.
Speaker C: Good to Hear you on N6EMS backing out.
Speaker B: All right. Yeah, I am. And the only place that really does salads anymore, I mean, Jack in the box has, like, a side salad, but Wendy's has these big $10 salads. It's a little much just for a salad, but it's like cranberries and walnuts. That's one of them. And I can power through maybe half of that and then I'm just pitching the rest. So I wish they had a junior version of that.
Speaker A: Yeah, I've gotten some of the ones from the restaurants and some of them are pretty big.
Speaker B: And then you.
Speaker A: I ate some of it and I get home and then it doesn't take long before it starts going bad and then I end up throwing it out sometimes.
Speaker B: No, I like a good salad. I like a Morton's wedge salad on a freezing cold plate with blue cheese crumbles and vinaigrette dressing. Yum. Doesn't that sound good right now? Where you gotta take a steak knife to cut it? Cause it's just the wedge.
Speaker A: Yeah, I think that sounds just fine.
Speaker B: Normally I stay at the Food talk till about 11, but I must be hungry. Well, thank you for sharing. Lentil soup. Check check check. Plus enjoy the rest of your drive home for lunch. Seven three can always a pleasure. Wu6H
Speaker D: all right, cool.
Speaker A: Thanks for giving me a little bit of a chat. W6HK MDSP Mobile See you later.
Speaker D: W6Hill6ih
Speaker B: what's up there?
Speaker A: Lair Bear?
Speaker D: Well, good morning my amigo. Still morning. Hey, this is like the day Friday the 13th. The day at 7 o' clock tonight. Where are you gonna be?
Speaker B: Oh man, I do have an obligation to go get that thingy. Been toting around in the car for a month, don't I?
Speaker D: Yeah, my package is getting lonely.
Speaker B: Man. I'd say I don't want to touch that, but it just keeps getting worse. This isn't EK after dark yet.
Speaker D: Well, see, and I was listening to that last conversation. So you wanna. You want a good tossed sour. Just saying hi Hi.
Speaker B: Yeah, I have no idea what you're talking about. But if you want a good laugh. Yeah. Urban Dictionary. Anyway, I'll keep you posted. I didn't tell the wife about it yet, so she doesn't like things springed on her in case she's planning dinner. So I'll have to let her know in the next hour or two. Not a problem.
Speaker D: Ain't no big deal. It'll just stay with me till you get there. Whenever. Cause my package, you know it has to stay with me. Anyway, do what you gotta do. I just thought it heard the drive by. Then I said yeah, I better put my tooth in here. I know what he's doing here. I kind of figure out what you're doing now. Careful. KO6 salad 3.
Speaker B: Can't toss you around. 73.
