Burn. Yeah, they were holding the cross up. Yeah, yeah, we. When I was 18. Now this is when I was 18, 19 years old. We used to put those up down there in Arkansas. And we'd put them up, you know, we climb poles and that's. That's what we do. But yeah, yeah, you can see the auger re. Drill a hole someplace else or drill that and then set another pole. Yeah, it's a big deal when you have to reset holes, but this here, you take off about four bolts on that transport, I guess, and I think there's like four bolts. And then put the wires and then trim them back and you're set on go. It didn't take very long to have two bucket trucks out here. Yeah, they're really heavy. Those transformers are really heavy. And a few of them might be up there that have these really dangerous oils inside. But I don't know if they are still around or not. Anyway, yeah, I'm really happy to hear from you. Maybe Steve will. Come on. We've both been wondering what you were up to and wondering even if you were here still. So glad you're on the air now. We. We tried the repeater a few times and there were more tries. You know, I, you know, gave up on it. And plus, we're. We're getting ready to. We're moving stuff to the valley, putting stuff in storage and stuff. So we've been pretty big. And then the other times when I had this HF wrangle on, see what I could do with it. And I'll be taking everything down. It's not. It's supposed to snow, but it's supposed to be a dusty. So we'll see if it gets very heavy. We'll take everything down and see what we do. Anyway, nice talking to you. Mike let you run and we'll be talking to you then. Yeah, I'm glad they got your free feeder or I got to it. I guess it's the rain that's helping me out. So anyway, seven threes your way. We'll talk to you at Ball K and six sl. All right. Well, Steve, are you out there and you want to say a few words to John N60RT? I guess not. So really good to hear from you, John. And I'm gonna go back to that little snack I'm cooking and. Really good to hear. Don't be a stranger. N60RG. All right, Mike, did you see the. Did you look at. Why I guess you couldn't because it was raining last night. But yeah, back there in Oklahoma. Every place else they had to. They see those northern lights and everything. Anybody talk to, like, a change or something like that? I was sleeping out in this truck. Camp was so loud on that roof. It was incredible. So, no, I did not see any stars, well, whatsoever. I could barely see the moon. In fact, I couldn't see the moon. Just. I knew it was out there because it lit up the clouds, but. All right, Talk to you later. N6TRG.

System32 link. Hey, ma'. Am. Good morning. I'm just getting my Jeep gassed up, so I'll be right back in 17.
All right. You still there, george? Six gyr and seven tmv. Yeah, it's still here. I think it went, I'm not sure. I get confused. I sleep on and off all day long. Okay. Anyways, I just heading to work and my wife was driving my jeep this week and looked down, I was on freaking fume. So I'm like I should probably get some gas. So anyway, got that done. Getting a little bit of rain. I guess you guys are getting a payload from what I see on the news, but a little bit of rain overnight. Supposed to get heavy rain tomorrow, which blows because I was supposed to go to one of our mountaintops to put back in a repeater. I fixed VHF radio that's linked up in the Idaho, Utah, Idaho area and it looks like pretty much rain all day and heavy type of storms around noon. So if it's not raining first thing in the morning and it looks like there's not a lot of clouds, I may try to get up around 4, 4 o' clock in the morning and head up there and see if I can get the damn thing put in. I'm worried about getting locked out with snow because it's like a 9,000 foot peak. But we'll figure it out. If not, I don't think it's supposed to be very cold next week so I can run out there next weekend. All this nice crowded stuff. Don't you think the lightning might be more dangerous? Yeah, I know exactly. That's why if it's clear in the morning I can probably run up there and get back by 10ish or so. Thunderstorm is starting to early afternoon, but we'll see. I'm not going to do anything stupid. It's only ham radio, right? It's not like I'm getting paid for this. Ah, anyway, so are you getting a lot of rain out there or what? We got a fair amount of rain. No flooding per se even here in the local areas, but we did get a little bit of blast of wind from the, from the front as the front went through. Been talking about getting really windy here Sunday, Monday, but. Oh well, we'll see. We definitely, we definitely need water. So other than that they opened us, they opened the government back up yesterday. So we called a lot of our employees yesterday trickling in or be too glad to be back at work. But I'm afraid these, both of those are going to do it again at the end of January, but I guess we'll see. Yeah, who knows what we're trying to pull. It might be A standard repeat process from the steps. Yeah, we'll see. I think they're going to f around until the middle of January and go, oh crap, it's coming up again. But don't know how to fix it other than that. What do you got going on today? Anything cool, anything fun, Any radio stuff, electronic stuff. Through a manual I found something. Microphone program. You can program it to monitor and do this and do that. Had something called Tcal on it or TCALL. That's the 1751st town used in Europe. So that's what that was. I had to look that up, Let all those auto links drop and reset. Yeah, yeah, I remember that. Forget what the hell they call the continuous something. Yeah, 1760. Remember that. All right. Well I actually, when I was working on this repeater I fixed, I had found a bad, a bad switching transistor and I actually pulled up my old ECG cross reference book. Haven't used that thing forever. It was out my. On my radio room that I used here. I used to work on stuff, fix stuff. Yanked that thing out and found my part and I said, man, that's pretty cool. I haven't used this forever. You should now use it on the Internet and Google it. Right? But I didn't have my phone or computer out there so I grabbed it and did that. Got it working. So yeah, that was a problem with the exciter. Got that fixed and then the damn PA started doing weird crap on me. I was a head scratcher for a couple of days and I found the problem was there was a solder bead or whatever. Probably been there forever between the ground and the trace that feeds the low pass filter right after the amplifier. So it was just enough there. Every now and again it would cause a couple of direct DC short, but enough to cause the couple on the RF side to pull the PA back from 110 watts to 2 watts. That was it. Took a little flat blade screwdriver to it. Knocked that out there, cleaned up with some alcohol. Knock on wood's been running great ever since. So I wonder how long that's been there. Let's see, I got an FT8800 sitting in a box up on top of the bookshelf along with a hard drive. I know the hard drive's got a short in it. I think I figured out where the short is, but I've got around to fixing it. And the radio that's on the agenda, 2 meter 440 radio. I'm not familiar with it. The 8800R is a dual band radio 2 meters and 440 and it's got a lot of coverage generally. Nice little radio. What else I got going on? Oh yeah, I got a microwave. I'm going to kind of relay that you know jumpers the high voltage section into the tube and whatnot makes it run. So I'm going to put a jumper across that, plug it in and if it heat some water I'll assume that the problem is in the circuit board. Probably got some bad solder joints or something in it. Yeah, you know fix it instead of buying a new one. Man, I tell you I had a Sony Bravia TV freaking thing was almost 20 years old. Paid a lot of money for it back in the day it was one of the first LED TVs and they finally went Tango uniform. I turned it on one day and it was like it looked like the screen was smashed in because it's just, it was just like a rainbow of colors. It wasn't smashed in, it's just the processor port probably went tits up. So anyways bought a new one, new Sony, you know, Bravia oled, blah blah blah. The thing, the thing died after a year and two weeks. Of course it was a one year warranty and Sony was cool about it. I buy a lot of Sony so stuff I just, I used to work on it back in the day so I know how you know they make good shed as opposed to Samsung and some of these other fools but so I bought it so I called Sony up and they said you know what, we're gonna extend your warranty, we'll cover it. Which was cool. And a guy came out and looked at it, swapped out a processor card on it and he told me, he goes you know they're still, Sony's still probably the best but you know even those guys, they just don't make them that make them that strong anymore. It's like every three, four years you have to buy a new tv. Doesn't matter if you buy a Samsung or an LG or whatever it's just that that's the way they are. I don't know if they engineer them to break or what the hell the story is. But yeah, you know I've got a, I've got a refrigerator. It's the hell it makes it crap. It's one of the higher end ones anyways I've had that damn thing for. I'm not kidding man, 25 friggin years and I had to replace the switch once on the. That switches on the. You Know the heater for the defrost? I had to replace that. I've had to replace the ice maker a couple times. Man, I'm keeping that thing running. I know if I bought something brand new, it'd probably last five years. So hold on to the old stuff and keep it working. I bought a new microwave. I can't do without a microwave. In fact, the same day I ran out, bought a new microwave and took the old one and put it in the garage and started playing with it. And I can't find anything wrong with the microwave part of it. And it just seems to be the control circuit that seems to be the problem. So, you know, I'm going to put that back together and fix it. Anchor the glass, spray the bottom with some cardboard boxes and don't break. And wrap the whole thing in plastic and put it in the garage. It'll be ready for me. Yeah, instead of tnd jenn air. That's what it is. Yeah. Microwave. I had an old microwave tango uniform on me a couple years ago, and I just threw it away. But I guess. I guess those are, I'll say, a little bit different because I noticed when I bought the new one, it cooked much faster because the old one was like, it was. It was a decade old, at least I'm sure the tube was. Was wearing out, not putting out full power. Right. So I noticed that, you know, I would heat up something in the other one, take a couple of minutes. This knew it was like 30 seconds, so. And yeah, those. Those are throwaway shit. You know, get a microwave from Costco for 80 bucks anymore. Well, I wanted something specific. Mine cost a little bit more, but the. I had one prior to the one that failed, and I had that one for, I don't know, 15 years. It crapped up out and about eight years, I guess, and ordered a new capacitor for it, popped in there and replaced the fuse, and it was good for another five or six years. All right, there you go. All right, well, I will let you go mainstream. I'm here at the office. Traffic is freaking lights for some reason. I'll tell you, it was. It was during the shutdown. The main drag I take to work is the road that leads to the air force base. It's a couple of miles away from my office. But anyway, so it was pretty dead last, you know, several weeks. And yesterday it was a zoo. But for some. For some reason, today is dead. So I made it quick. So I will let you go. Have a good day out there. Hopefully. Hopefully storms are past you. I know they're heading our way, so I'll chat with you later. Take care, George. N7T Andy oh yeah, there's supposed to be some new storm coming in. Between that and all the solar storms grew up the radios such as life. Anyways. N6gyr73 have a good day at the office.

Oh, this is November 6th golf yankee Romeo. November 6th golf yankee romeo. Good morning. Happy Friday. I have one up on you. It's always Friday for me. I'm retired. Well, hey, that works. I'm on my way on a long drive to finish out my week. So I've got two hours left to my destination. Yeah, I've done some pretty wild things as far as, you know, doing things like that. Drive from half moon bay to vandenberg, pick something up and walk around the van a half a dozen times, Jump back in the van and drive back. Lots of fun. 10 hour round trip. Yep. I think the last two weeks or so, I've put a couple thousand miles down already. It's just been a busy couple weeks, but hopefully today is the end of it. I'm on my way from twain heart all the way out to pleasanton. All right. Yeah, I used to know the guy who's done the pro shop golf course there. That was 40, 50 years ago. That was the old golf course then. I think they moved it maybe 15 years ago. I don't know exactly when, but I know they moved it the old golf course, because it must have been the old golf course because that was a long time ago. A long, long time. Vaguely remember that. My parents took us up there once. Are you still doing a little bit of golf now that you're t. That's a negative. You know, I absolutely find it fascinating to take a little white ball, put it on a tee, and then smash the ball, everything you got with a big driver club and try and hit what you aim you at. In our case, we used to have a Tree at about 170 yards. And we got up there and hit golf balls at the tree. And it was quite satisfying, except my back, after about the third swing, my back would give. Yep, I hear you. Whenever I tried playing golf, a few times I did. I spent most of my time looking for the ball and not actually playing. Well, the advantage of this is that we had buckets full of balls. Buy them at garage sales. You know, buy a bucket full of balls, take them to work, put them in our big bucket. But we just hit balls right and left and we had a machine pick up the balls. So we set the guy down to and pick up the balls and refill our thing up again and do it over again. Lots of fun. As I say, hey, you only do that two or three times. You know, smack that ball like that with that much force. Lower back just couldn't handle it. Yeah, you gotta. You gotta keep an Eye on the, on the ball boy. And if he hit him 100 points, right? Supposedly, I guess that's the standard. I don't know. We didn't have any ball boys. Took us love to not hit all the balls downwind. And lots of fun though. It was one of the perks of working at that particular station. I gotcha. Well, hey, the name here is Andrew. I'm still on my drive. I gotta turn on 99 here soon. I finally got out of the rain clouds. It was raining really hard when I was leaving. Duane Harden. Yeah, back to you K6AE guys down here. I'm currently located in South San Francisco. And let's see, I can't really see through the window at all. The ground looks like it might have been damp earlier, but otherwise it ain't raining right now. Starting to get some sunshine coming through here. Actually trying to break through the clouds, but it's having a hard time. Pretty common there in South San Francisco, right. I had a friend who lived in Pacifica for quite a while and I remember every time I went to visit him, I'd be driving through, through a beautiful sunny day and then all of a sudden I pass through South San Francisco and I get down to Highway 1 and it's just socked in with all that fog. Normal. Yeah, nice sunny. A nice sunny day down there on Highway 1. Going to the fancy restaurants and the fog rolls in. Standard operating procedure from that place. Do you have a favorite place on Highway 1 you like to go eat or a favorite spot? Just visiting now it's Highway 1. The work was really good. I mean, you know, guys would bring in gigantic things of hamburger and we'd make hamburgers. And what they did was they made a gigantic £1 ball of meat, flatten it out a little bit. Call that a hamburger. I could eat one one day. I ate two and couldn't eat anything for a couple days. Okay. Yeah, I always feel full after a big hamburger. Yeah, that's pretty funny. Put all those fixings on it. They were delicious, needless to say. Let's see, down by the harbor down there, south of Pacifica, there's a harbor, El Granada. Turn to go into the harbor, but if you turn, go back towards the mountain, then immediately make a right hand turn and then immediately make a left hand turn. There's a little yellow place back there that makes pizza. Harbor pizza, you know, Sunset Pizza. I don't know what the heck things called. They have the best meat. Pepperoni pizza. Do you happen to know if that pizza place is still there. I really like pizza and next time I go out to Half Moon Bay I'll have to try and find it. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's still there. I mean it's one of the few places there that certain types of pizza. I really like the place. You know, there's a certain smell when you cook a pizza. It's got good stuff on, has a smell. And then if you eat like a whole small pizza you get indigestion. Really bad because neat and so spiced up and good. But it's a unique smell that I think a pizza should have. But most of them usually don't. Southbound on 99. Sounds like I'm right behind you. Turning on to 99 right now. 86 AES. AES. N6PYR South San Francisco. Go ahead, the other guy, pick it up. You guys continue. I'm going to step back and have some coffee. Enjoy your coffee. N6Cyr hey, if you're looking for a good pizza, there's a spot down south, south of Fremont. I want to say it's called Bronco Billy's or. Or Wild Willies or Bronco Bills or something like that. And it's the famous spot in the downtown district there that old black and white movie stars used to go to back in the day or the famous district for black and white movies and they make a pizza there. The small pizza seems as big as a large pizza. I think it's called Bronco Billy's or something like that. Keep that in mind. I get over there sometimes. Anyways, enjoy. Have fun. Gyr. I won't suggest switching to a local tone. Yeah, I'm just driving up northbound 101 on the freeway in the middle of California here. Reaching out, making contact as I move my way north. And this is my southernmost channel in the networks now that System 29 is on the fritz. Yeah, okay, northbound on 101. Okay, exactly where are you anyway? Alpha Delta, 7 Charlie Delta. Getting down closer to it now, but got partly cloudy and blue skies. How's it looking your way? I got rain here all day in Sonora. Raining. I'm not even sure where Willows is. Where are you according to Modesto? Northeast, south, or. How many miles from Modesto are you? I'm close to about 200 miles north of Modesto. About 120 miles north of Sacramento here in the north state ag land between Reading and Sacramento. All right. Yeah, I'm about 60 miles east of Modesto. Down there. Probably 100, 120, 130 miles south of Sacramento. Yeah, we're on a link linked system there. I guess so. Like I say, I wasn't even sure which feeder I'm going in, so I guess it don't matter much on the mileage because like you say, we're on a Lynx system, so. They sound good. Little bit of popcorn. I'm on a base station. We have about 45 watts or so. I gotta check it out, try to figure out what repeater I'm hitting. Alright, well, sounds good anyway, other than small amounts of popcorn. But Monterey, that peak There is about 140, 150 miles away from me, so I think I'm doing about 45 watts. I got a little 10 element jaggy about 50ft in the air, pointed that direction. That makes sense because that's where it's pointed. I used to talk to Monterey on some other bands, so yeah, that makes sense to me all the way. I didn't think it was that far though. But yeah, we're getting into that repeater. Probably 130, 140 mile range, I'd imagine. Hey, thanks for that W6BNN. Didn't realize I was hitting it that far. Curious to know. Anybody in the back room there knows 76 D&N here. How many. Is this a CARLA system or not? And how many repeaters we got linked on this one? Yeah, W6 from KM7 CIB. Affirmative on the Carla system. And there's rock. Roughly 330 repeaters last I checked. Maybe one or two are having link issues and I think there's another on low power, but affirmative on the Carlos system. KM7 CIB. Yeah, roger. You have a 2 liter link to that? Just right up the hill above me, literally a few miles. So my UHF I guess is all the way out here to Monterey. But yeah, like I say, I have a carless system meter right here in Sonora. So Friday bank. So check it out. W6DNN east of Sonora. Everybody's standing by. KLG here. Yeah, it is about 30 at 3 0. And we're down 29 out of service and Lucille area. And we're also down the Mount Shasta site, which I think is permanently decommissioned at this time. But it's a handy little array to have for traveling around the state of California. Yeah, Roger, roger. Kind of like the old wind system. The wind system was super popular a few years ago. And then I got back on the wind system and it kind of went dormant. So that sounds like it might even be more popular than the wind system. Like I say, the wind system went dormant. It was kind of surprising. Used to be pretty darn busy. All right, we'll check it out. Is there any pets on here? I'll catch something. I'll monitor this one anyway on my UHF. All right, thanks. W6DN73. KM7 CIB. Yeah, affirmative. On the decommissioned site on Mount Shast. Excuse me, Mount Bradley. I'm originally a native to Siskiyou County. And there is another. There's a VHF repeater up on Mount Bradley now. However, it's part of the Peak Radio association based out of Central Oregon. I frequent that system quite a bit as I'm now a resident of Southern Oregon. But no, it's great having the system down here. Did some research before making the trip over to Sacramento. So glad to hear some folks on here. 73 to you both monitoring kilomk7 Charlie and dear Bravo mobile. Roger, Roger on the Mobile there. Yeah, I'm out south. A lot of UFO activity. Maybe it's messing with the repeater. But yeah, there's a lot of good coverage. Large footprint for California. There are no doubt. W6DNN On Phoenix Lake, east of Sonora, 65 miles east of Modesto. It's either the UFOs or the Lumerians. If you haven't gotten the chance to research that, that's quite the rabbit hole. If you're interested, KM7TIB southbound I5 or Linden. Something going on up there. Mount Tr. I've got a chance to drive by and be able to see it dozens of times or so in my life. So it stands out two, three hours before you get there. Way down the freeway, you can see it for a long time before you joined by it quite a few times. But that's about as close as I've gotten. There's anything going out there. No doubt. W6D in there. Affirmative. I've got it in my rear view mirror just as it's gonna disappear over the horizon. But I'll catch it back on Sunday afternoon. Not a view I'd ever want to miss out on. KM7 CIB. Kn7CIB. Right on W6DN. And we'll hear you down the log. And everyone else. 56 Delta November. November. 65 miles east of Modesto, California. Phoenix Lake.
Kilo Op to 6, Kilo Lima Delta monitoring system 10, westbound 101. Mobile system 10, link up, Kilo Oscar. Excuse me. Kilo Oscar 6 Station, this is KM7 Cav. Kilo Mike 7, Charlie, India Bravo monitoring from I5 southbound north of Willows. You're loud and clear, sir. Hey, how you doing? I caught a tail end of your conversation with the other gentleman over here on System 10. Hope your drive's going well. Hopefully you're out of the rain now. We're just moving our way up the coast and I've been reaching out to a number of stations as we come up, trying to figure out what the southernmost limit of the Carlo network is, and I seem to have found it right now, so working my way up the coast, listening in. Copy that, sir. Yeah, I think I heard you try to tune in a little while ago while I was talking with the other gentleman in Sonora. You are much more readable now and you sound terrific. I haven't hit the rain yet. However, I'm looking at a wall of weather as I'm coming into the area of Yolo County. Not sure how familiar you are with i5, but just south of Willows and Williams and all that is where it starts to get a little bendy around Arbuckle and all that. But hoping to settle into Folsom tonight without getting too much rain. How's it out there on the coast for you? Jump in quality is probably because I switched from System four that I was using before down by King City up onto the Monterey repeater, which is much sharper up in this neck of the woods. Yeah, it looks pretty good out here. I left the weather behind earlier this morning. You'll meet some as you move further south, but yeah, I got family up in the Folsom area. I'm familiar with that stuff. Region gonna aim that way for Thanksgiving this year, I think. Very nice, Very nice. Well, safe travels to you. Yeah. Born and raised in Davis and Safety and I migrated up to Siskiyou County a little over a decade ago, but still come down here first. And family, the better half and I are headed into the city tonight or for a concert tomorrow night. So nice trip and good weather so far. And it is not 110 degrees through the corridor, which makes it just that much more doable. I'd go out on a limb and call that remarkable this time of year. Usually so pretty toasty all the way through. Who are you guys going to see? We're going to the Golden One center to go see Brandon Lake, who Is an upcoming Christian artist who's paired up with a couple of popular names in the industry. But we've been following him for about a year or two now and he's pretty popular amongst music played in our home church back in southern Oregon. So saw the opportunity to come down and kind of reminisce on the old stomping grounds and enjoy some time on the road. And for me, not so much for my better half, get to play with the new linked radio system. So she's sitting next to me watching some TV while I'm doing my thing over here. Very nice. Yeah, my girlfriend and I just went up to Bend earlier this summer. We're both in the EMS and pre hospital medicine war. So we went up there for a class and did some poking around. Went all the way up to North Cascades national park, which was breathtaking. I can't believe it's the least visited of our national parks in the lower 48, but that was a really splendid drive up there. I got you loud and clear there, sir. I'm a firefighter paramedic there in the south, south end of the Road Valley for a municipal department, so. And yeah, Bend is beautiful. I got to go up there over the summer and the weather was just gorgeous. Not too hot, not too cold. But yeah, I love that drive, especially going from the Rogue Valley up and over. I like going through Crater Lake national park as a little scenic bypass. It's not too much longer than taking the standard route, Just the bypass you're talking about. I took that road back in July. I agree, extremely splendid. Crater Lake is a little hard to access right now, but you make it work. And Bend was a good deal of fun. A lot of interesting things to see and nice breweries about their thing and dinner. So we had a good time. Yeah, no, absolutely. Yeah. We went up to the Deschutes Brewery as well there with some friends and got to kind of tour around and all that kind of stuff. But I really enjoy poking around out there and I've only been in the Road Valley as a permanent resident for almost two years now. So still plenty to see, still plenty to experience. But fortunate enough to stay will be within a stone's throw of the back home in Siskiyou county and still got plenty more places to explore, but very good. Where do you call home, if you don't mind me asking? I'm just about to move myself and my partner and I are moving into the Santa Cruz Mountains to get a little bit out of the cityscape. I'm I've been an urban and suburban paramedic on a transporting unit for a couple years now. But I'm ready to get myself a little more rural. I'm feeling the ish to get out of the city. That's something to look forward to and definitely going to be a better time, I think. Gotcha. Yeah, I totally understand. No, best of luck to you. Yeah, the city life on a box can get a little. Can get old pretty quickly but you know, everybody earns their stripes in different places and I'm sure you have so. Alrighty, sir. Well, 73s to you. Safe travels. Good luck in the move, stay safe at work and you take care. You've got Jack, Juliet, Alpha, Charlie, Kilo here on the other side. Kilo, Mike Seven Charlie into your bravos. Going to stay on monitoring on my way to Sacramento here on the system currently hitting the Willows Tower. Over and out for now, 6K. Copy V. Have a safe drive. Enjoy your car. Delta back to monitoring system 10.

Sa, This is Ki7aqn. Looking for a radio check. Over. Station KO6KLZ, northbound 101 south of San Jose. Got your loud and clear. System seventh link up. San Jose on 101. A firm. You're clear on fishing catch. You said you were on 101, over. That's correct. Northbound 101. I'm in las vegas, nevada at my house. Over. Well, your link is working. I'm on system 10 right now. Coming up out of the Monterey Bay area on coastal California. Quite a distance contact door, Something like that. I'm pretty pleased with this mobile rig, all things considered. Thanks. Appreciate the radio check. Ki7aqno out. Ki 7 Station, this is Kilo Mike 7 Charlie amd Bravo. You're allowed and clear in the system 1616 on Mount Baca, just north of Sacramento here in California. Thank you kindly. You guys get heavy rain last night? I don't really have an answer for you. I'm not a local to this area, but I would bet some money that they're going to get some rain tonight. Looks like there's pretty much a storm on every side of the area around Sacramento right now. So I'll be back on the road tomorrow. If I hear you around, I could let you know. But when I woke up in Oregon this morning, there was no rain. Nice and clear skies. It was a nice view. KM7CIB. Sounds great. Ko6kob back monitoring 73 for now. Enjoy your item.
Kj6nkr, assist me. All right, KO6 station in San Jose. Yeah, just curious, what repeater do you come in on from that area there? Typically either system 10,000 Monterrey or the designated system in San Jose. All right, very good. Well thanks for the info. Yeah, I'm not in the area there too much but every once in a while I go down to San Jose, so. Good to know. Well, very good. Hope you're enjoying the afternoon there. I don't know if you're working, but anyways I'm just heading into work so thanks for saying hello. From Belf, Lake Tahoe, KJ6 MKR. Sounds good, Enjoy. What's up? Like a night or evening shift? For reference, the San Jose system is just instead and then the Monterey system is 1510 and both of those will work in the bay down here. All right, very good. I will definitely try to have a dual band radio in the vehicle next time I'm down there. I think last time I just had a 2 meter radio and I just had like the, the main repeater in that area there. What is it, WW6 bay or something. I know that's a big one. And then there's a couple others in the area there that are on some mountain south west of San Jose I think it is, or Santa Clara area. Anyways, well back to you. I'll be signing off here shortly, but thanks again for saying hello. Name is Jeff, KJ6. I'm K York. Sounds good. Nice to hear your voice, Jeff. Yeah. If you're ever back down here on 2 meters, there's the Stanford repeater N6 NFI and then there's one on Lola Pareto Mountain and the Santa Cruz mountain lprc and both of them are quite powerful. All right. Yeah, that Stanford repeater, I think I, I hear that one from here every once in a while when conditions are just right on two meters with my yaggy antenna that's on the roof. They don't hear it all the time, but you know, whenever there's decent propagation on 2 meters I pick up that one and I think the WW6A repeater, I'll hear that one every once in a while too. I don't know if they're the same, but anyways. Well, very good. I'm gonna sign off here. I'm sure we'll probably talk to you again at some point here on Carla KJ6NKR.
The gear's west. Repeater frequency has been changed. It is now. It is now on 1. 46.895 minus PL 123. I repeat, 46.895 minus PL 123 W6 RHC repeater check 2.
Kj6nkr from km7cib. You say you're loud and clear into say locator number 1616 reporting from North Sacramento. Km6tib I think it was. All right, well very good, thanks for the report. Yeah, the link between these two sounds really good. So 16 is that the, is that the backup repeater? That's affirmative. And It's a kilo mike seven Charlie India bravo. Km seven cab. Affirmative. Yeah, Mount Baca and I'm just passing Raleigh Boulevard here. I 80 eastbound Sacramento mobile. Okay, yeah, copy that on 15. Yeah that's a good repeater. I can get into that one sometimes from here in South Lake Tahoe. Believe it or not I can usually hit the the 2 meters procedures. I'm back at no problem. But yeah, with UHF getting over the mountains it's not quite as easy Anyways. Well hey, thanks for the report. I am destinated here so I'm gonna sign off. And again I got the was a Charlie India Bravo Viv, KJ6NKR. That's affirmative. Kilo Mike 7 Charlie India Bravo, all state 73 is well sir. I'm going to sign off as I'm heading into the city for the night. KM7 CIB over and out. Have a good night.
