Ah, just too good. So good. You just have to say it over the air. N6wip. N6ntm. Oh, I didn't mention the five dollar service, fe. You know, here. You're gonna love it. You can go. You can go. Look at it on Deborah Dark and he'll show you the articles. $8 billion in fraud in Minnesota added on onto the 100 and a half. Then they raised it to do 2. 2 billion now. 8 billion today. Look at you can't run from AI j. I. I know. I'm not telling you anything. You know more about it than me, I'm sure. But you know how they circled back that money? All that.

Money that they scammed more than half of them. Names come back as contributions to Omar. How about that? Talk about getting a kickback, huh? $8 billion. That's what we're up to now. They got their names. Same people were collecting twice on food stamps. And autistic children kicking back pain into her. Oh, boy. You'll like that one. I know. Well, we've all known, especially us that have served in the military, that.

We might see something happening with those people in three or six months before they actually are incarcerated or something like that. Look at, look at Comey and Trapper and Lieutenant James and I could go on. They got a judge in this lower court, so they'll go back and do it even righter next time around. They were dismissed on without prejudice. So they'll gather up the information they need to get them. You betcha. It's going to be the same thing with this sort of stuff here, to actually be held accountable. You know, I'm keeping, I'm keeping my prayers going for justice. True transparency has ramifications. I'm counting.

Okay. So there you go. How's everything in Panaca? Everything's fine in Panaka. It's just north of Las Vegas. It's just south of Caliente, Nevada. Have you heard of Caliente? Yeah, we call that Caliente. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, I. Like I said, I remember going. I had to go through there once because I couldn't go the other way out of Ely. I was going to start watching some MASH series here. Haven't seen. Haven't seen a lot of these MASH episodes in a long time. So I thought I'd sit down and start watching some of those again. Give me something to do when there's nothing to do, right? Sure. For sure. I. I enjoyed mash. I watched that. I watch, I think every one of them. I don't know, they kind of like gun smoke. Kk6vzv mobile. Kk6syv mobile. Good evening. Good evening. Why, it's chilly tonight. Yep. Yep. It's 45. It didn't get that warm today. Okay. All right. Well, I guess it is getting towards Christmas, so it should feel cold. That could be a lot worse. Yes, it could. So, what do you got going this weekend? I am going to a shooting class in Elk Creek. Or just south of Elk Creek. Okay.

2025-12-06 01:05:39 UTC 60.0s · WD6AXM TX (146.085 MHz)

What's the aim of the class? Long range and ballistics and all that kind of stuff. Supposedly during the class we shoot out to a thousand yards. Oh my. That's not terribly easy to do. That's why I'm going to class, so I can learn how to do it better. How do you even see what's out there at a thousand yards? To shoot at a expensive piece of glass on top of the gun. Okay. And once you shoot it, hiking out the thousand yards. My, I'm sure he's got side by sides and all that kind of stuff that he goes out there to service the targets and stuff with. No, you can see them from.

2025-12-06 01:06:39 UTC 60.0s · WD6AXM TX (146.085 MHz)

That far off and, you know, put the glass that you're looking through and other people watching to see if you actually hit, see the target move. Yeah, it's been a while. I remember seeing somebody that put out a YouTube video of some guy taking a really long distance shot like that, had a deer or elk or something and him actually hitting it. I was like, holy cow. Yeah. You get into the, you know, whether it's ethical to shoot that range to try and kill something. You know, your bullet really doesn't have enough energy to do the proper damage to kill it ethically. Well, that thing went down. Yeah, just like that. There was no staggering around any.

2025-12-06 01:07:39 UTC 60.0s · WD6AXM TX (146.085 MHz)

It just fell. Yeah. If you had a good enough shot to take it down. But, you know, how many times are you going to get that perfect shot from that distance? Very true. Very true. Well, all right. Well, I hope it's warm enough for you. He's got shot houses that we shoot from that have heaters and stuff in them. So, I mean, if the wind's blowing straight in your face, of course it's not going to do a lot. But if it's covering from the side or from the back, you're not going to be hopefully sitting out there in the wind. But the moisture and everything else is still going to be around temperature. Well, I think I'm going to stay inside where it's warm. That sounds like that be could.

Be a plant, so I might have to go out there and brave it just to get more leaves. It's interesting. It's like, so far, I've raked my yard twice, and it's weird. It's like the. There is so much, you know, so much quantity of dead leaves built up in the lawn. It's like the. And there's just as much up on the tree, and it's sort of like it stops. It's like, I'm not putting any more out until you. Until I need you. You had to go through and clean up what's already there. And then I'll start shedding some more. Yep, yep. That's the way it always is. You get every leaf picked up, and then you turn around and there's 40 more behind you. It's almost like saying, like, yeah.

You know, I think the only time I've seen the Messiah was when I was in high school. And I may have actually participated in it in one aspect or another. That was when Jerry Reed was heading up everything. He and I talked one day for about an hour, trying to figure out all the things he would need to get that. And I don't know if they ever got that or not, but I don't know. I should reach out again and see if they need any assistance. However, as far as the movie portion of it, they're SOL because you got to have a DVD player that has RCA jacks. So I don't know, they might have to go through B and H and try to find something, which is probably going to be, since it's near broadcast, going to be a little more expensive. But, hey, it's in my inmate welfare fund. They can afford it. Well, you know, if I had still been working over at the courthouse, I'd have got rid of that ticket saying, you know what? Not our problem. It's their thing. They need to figure it out. But no, they decided to go ahead, and they got Jeff to camp, assigned to it. Yeah, Roger. I used to have the wind system in here, but too much general. People being amazed that they could talk to some other city on a handheld from another state or something like that. I overrode it with some other memory or whatever, but there are frequencies. But anyway, this system seems. I don't listen to it very often, but it seems to be very quiet, most part. So I'll get it back that way. I'll sign with you and say have a great evening and weekend there, and thanks for coming back. WA6EKS Martinez, which is near Concord. Yeah. My ex, Exyl used to. Her parents hooked up in Ameon, so I used to go up there all the time. I think her dad thousand I want to say.

When they relocated to Vegas probably 30 years ago. Shortly after we did, she left me. And then, I don't know, I didn't talk to her parents very much after that from time to time. So I, you know, I know that area. Discovery Bay, Concord, Antioch and Pittsburgh State Highway 4 and west and get off of 5 there, stock and go west and make a sharp right turn. I take that road many a time. So I'm familiar with the area, Doc. Has been probably 30 years since I've been around, 35 years maybe since I've been in that neighborhood. So anyway. But yeah, I remember all the greenery and stuff that we don't have here in Vegas. Pretty much them. All right. We'll take care. I won't keep you. I heard you want to sign and welcome. Welcome back. Stop by and say hi.

A great group of people here. And I don't know if you ever use All Star. You're into that or not, but All Star is amazing. If you want to talk to faraway places, just dial up the nose and get yourself a pick up a clear nose device or something like that. There's a guy up there in Jerry Sildy that manufactures this little device called a clear nose. It's a WI fi and it's a small transmitter receiver, 50 milliwatts or whatever. And for them to work around the neighborhood, there's connect to the Internet. You dial up a node on pcms, you'll be talking to anywhere in the world. It's fantastic. It's a really great mode. Anyway, take care, Las Vegas. Good night. Yeah, thanks again. Yeah, I don't have All Star. I've got an old open spot, I think one of the first ones in a DMR.

Mv380 I think it is the model number and All Star I think is much clearer, much, much better audio quality. I should get rid of the open spot. I guess I could probably. I don't know if I could use the MD380 on All Star or not anyway. But yeah, it does sound really good. It's very impressive, but I don't have it yet. I do have D Star on a Kenwood handheld, but that's not the same either. Anyway, we can chat more about that later and have a good one there. Thank you. Very good. All right. Well take care and good night. Yeah, check it out, All Star if you bug wants a bike and go look at various websites, a company called Node Ventures just look up Node Ventures and the device is called A clear Nose and got a couple different models but few hundred bucks will put you it's a fantastic.

Big device, well made, super robust, and the operating system that he has with it is an app for iOS or for Android. And super robust menu, not buggy anything is worth every 10 years. What I'm using right now actually. So I'm going into our Vulture server through All Star in the back door and coming out on all these shooters all over the place. But I could also use RF and connect to any one of a number of mountaintops around here. We got 8,500 foot mountain, so work that great. I got all kinds of choices, but also I can take my little handheld, walk around the neighborhood, walk the dog and use that hit that clear nose. Been on my office theft, talk to the world. Anyway, if you want to know more about it, hit me up on Look It Up.

I bought a two pack of these radios and I accidentally ordered two. Two packs of radios. It's just the new baofeng mini or B5R mini or whatever, but they came with the stock antennas which I'm using now, which I'm glad to hear it's got good signal. And they also came with free Nagoya771. Probably like a 13 inch whip or something like that, but that's pretty good. It was two. Two radios for 40. Yeah, my son and I have a pair of those too. And they do seem to work as well as the full size ones. Yeah, I've never had an issue with these Chinese radios. I'm sure some people have, but they got me into the hobby and they keep taking my money. But it is what it is. But thank you for the comeback there. Now that I got four of these guys, I'm not sure what I'll do. Maybe I'll pay it forward to a couple hams or something because I certainly don't need fours.

I'm going to give myself credit. I'm up and I'm having coffee, so that's a good start. That is a good start. I imagine it's just as foggy down there as it is up.

A little bit. I can still see the cell tower that's on the probably about a quarter mile away from me, so I can still see the structure of it. So it's not too bad over here in Calusa, but once you get out of the city proper, then it was pretty bad the other day. Yeah. I was over in Caloosa last evening and the fog was up above you. I mean, it wasn't down on the ground like it was here at Bangor, but it just seemed like most of the valley, you know, I had the fog was. Was up off the ground. You could see pretty decent, but it was, you know, it looks like it's real cloudy. It's just all fogged over. But up here, it up here about 800ft elevation, it. We've been living in the fog the last couple days. Yeah. I'll be honest, I never been to Bangor.

Bangor and I just need to get out and go to different places. But that's good. You guys have that elevation advantage usually. Except for when you're more than knee deep in the sauce there, but you out mobiling? I'm just staying here at the house. It's cold. I'm not doing anything. I been watching. I fell asleep watching Hogan Heroes last night so that was no complaints on my behalf. I slept like a baby. Yeah, I had to run to town and get the batteries. Seemed like on the farm always batteries dead on something or. These are pretty old batteries. It's finally time for them to go so I had to go in and get some of those. So I'll be back at the house here in a few minutes and. And back in putting them, you know, back to work again. Sounds good. This one might die but I got three other ones. But I picked.

Picked up the Baofeng UV5 or UV5R mini decent little radio, and you can program it all from the front panel, and it's probably about as small as one of those little FRS radios, but last night I got a pretty good signal report with the stock rubber duck inside the house. How am I sounding today? So are those 5 watt, 8 watt? What are they? They are 5 watt, and I've watched, I'd say, about three or four different videos from the YouTuber ham community, and they're all saying, most of them are saying that it's. Radio that supposedly has pretty good cleanliness as far as, for instance, stuff goes. And for me.

Yeah, it's amazing what they can do. And for the they're very reasonable. Like, hard to Hard for me to imagine how they can make something that cheap. I guess it has to do with the, you know, their labor prices and stuff. But. Yeah, very good. Well, I'm glad they worked. And you have a good day, and we'll chat with you later. KS6G10. All right. Artie out there. Good luck with those batteries. Hopefully they're not the heavy ones for the cars. Hopefully you're not dealing with those because I didn't buy those heavy batteries. But anyway, enjoy the rest of your Saturday. Stay warm, stay dry. Kilo Oscar Six, Bravo, Golf, Yankee. All the clear monitoring in the background. 73.

And goes into my, my wi fi here at the house. Voila. Here I am. Wow. Well, it really works for you. Yeah. All Star is definitely a, a great tool in the world of ham radio. Efficiently just linking things together nowadays, linking repeaters together and systems together and mass connections during a, you know, during a bad weather event or the case in California, maybe in a big earthquake or something, it.

2025-12-06 21:52:57 UTC 60.0s · GEARS W TX (146.115 MHz)

Yeah. California has a big one. It's gonna affect us, too. Yeah. Well, in the immediate areas of a big earthquake, you probably lose a lot of the Internet. But at least some of the other stuff will stay connected. And using RF and Internet, that does work. And then anybody on the outside can connect in to any of the sites that have allstar. Anyways, I do have to get back to what I was doing. I think you said your name was Rich or Richard. I believe that's what you said. But good talking to you there in Las Vegas. I will be listening. So, unfortunately, the rest of the electronics have supplies. That quick trip to the hardware store for another dozen light bulbs. Oh, boy, that's terrible. I have four of these little guys here and this is a stock rubber duck antenna. And how's it sounding over there? That sounds. That's great. So you got some new antennas. What are they? Oh, no, I do apologize. I actually got the radio this the Baofeng UV5 mini. So it's a replacement for the UV5 and it's mini. It's about the size of like one of those little two pack bubble wrap old two way JMRS radios that you can get at like tracking supply or something. But no, these things, I mean I dropped one already and it survived. Really easy to program. You can program an actual name for the frequency on there from the face of the radio, which was new to me. You can use Bluetooth.

2025-12-06 22:11:00 UTC 60.0s · WD6AXM TX (146.085 MHz)

This is the same radio signal that I got or signal report I got from someone last night from inside the house with the stock Rubber Duck. And they also sent with two Nagoya 771s for each radio, or one for each radio. That's great. Yes. I have a 5R Mini, actually. When they first. When I first took notice of them, I thought, I'm gonna. I have to try this just to see what it's like. I like it. It's a nice little radio. Yeah. And I cannot speak for how yours or how your radios were shipped, but they were shipped really well, real fast. Good quality packaging. No scuffs, dings or nothing. But it's a rather small box, and I got two of them, and in each end, on the inside of each box, was two Negor.

2025-12-06 22:12:00 UTC 60.0s · WD6AXM TX (146.085 MHz)

A 771 like 13 inch width. I did not know they were going to be in. It's like open one of those little cranks of thing and it's going to snap out like a coiled snake at you. And that's exactly. I had antennas flying around the living room. I thought it was hilarious. Yeah. You know when I got, I got mine, I got a two pack and I pulled the box out and I'm thinking, are there two radios in here? Well, yeah, I pulled it out. There was two of everything in there. It's like, well, holy cow, this is a mini. Okay, now I do have a question. I'm not sure. Same seller or purchase from the same seller, I should say. But did you get two antennas for each radio? Because I got four. Four of these, but they came with a stock rubber duck, which is what I'm using right now. Outside side of my house, I can see the two masts on the Sutter butte.

2025-12-06 22:13:00 UTC 60.0s · WD6AXM TX (146.085 MHz)

In my house right now, and I'm probably 20 miles west of that, but perfect line of sight on a stock rubber duck. And then they also sent two Nagoya 771 dual band 13 or probably 14 inch whips as well. And if you break it down, it was $40 2. So if you think about it, it was 20 bucks and I got a free Nagoya 771. I don't remember who I got mine from. I do not believe I got the 771 in mine, but I think I paid like $54 for two of them, which to me still was was a pretty good deal. So you know, would not hesitate whatsoever to recommend them to anybody. Yeah, no, I recommend them according to several reputable courses on.

YouTube, they actually put out higher than the pre or the claimed 5 watts. Some of the harmonics and stuff are showing almost six. Like, wow, that's pretty cool. But anyway, yeah, for the price, you can't beat it. I mean, definitely. Probably a different seller on that with the antenna on there. But what I mean, I'm using the stock rubber duck antenna right now, and I really don't want to go walking around with that big whip on this little radio because I think it's too top heavy. And I mean, sure, the gain will be better, but I mean, if I'm getting good signal reports now with this little tiny neon green and black radio. Stop. Probably gonna not use those for these radios. Yeah, I think I might. You know, I haven't yet, but I think I might replace them with a 701, which is the 7 inch.

Nagoya. Just, you know, I don't know what the quality of the one that came with it is. That seems to be pretty good. But, yeah, I kind of prefer those 701s myself. If I'm gonna replace. And I generally do replace my. The stock antennas, they come with. Oh, yeah, no, I was going through last night after the wipe. Yeah. Went through the little antenna. I got a little pistol cup that I have that'll fit in the darn thing. And most of them are the stock. A little rubber duck. It's like, okay. Hey, it'll transmit on a frequency. Here, have it. BNC adapter on mine so that I can do a quick change on the antenna when I want to. No, I keep. I keep kicking myself because I have that issue quite a bit. I need to go ahead and switch over. Okay. Yeah. And for anyone listening, yeah, it is a little sad. Good friend I was. I went to this apartment complex a couple years ago, got an apartment, started to get to know people there. But there was this one lady that was just really shut down, and she finally, about a month before she passed away, she included me in her life. Almost every day I'd go in there. It's a small studio, probably no bigger than a foxhole compared to that. But anyway, she's like, do you want something to drink? You want water? No. But anyway, she passed away. I found her. And in this small shoebox department, 99% of that stuff was Christmas. You would not have ever known that. This sweet lady love Christmas.
